Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements: Full implementation of the curriculum and defense of Bachelor's Thesis.
Characteristics of the educational program: Program is based on well-known principles and results of modern scientific research in applied mechanics and focuses on the solution of specialized problems and practical problems, which involves the use of appropriate theories and methods. The main focus of the educational program and specialization: general higher education and training in applied mechanics, including training of specialists capable of analysis, forecasting and decision-making in the design, construction, manufacture, operation and production of facilities and systems in mechanical engineering. Features of the program: focus on ensuring that higher education seekers obtain general competencies and professional competencies in certain practical lines (specializations) of the program through the formation of specialized educational trajectories and student-centered educational process, in particular: 1) Robotic systems and complexes; 2) Engineering of logistics systems; 3) Mechanical engineering technologies; 4) Machines and packaging technologies; 5) Welding technologies and equipment; 6) Restoration and increase of wear resistance of details and designs.
Gained competence: Knowledges of: a) basic sciences, to the extent necessary for the development of general professional academic disciplines; b) basics of design and production of mechanical engineering structures and elements; c) technological processes of production and their design methods and implementation; d) of modern CAD software for 3D models and technical drawings; e) organization of physical quantities measurements and their accuracy assessment in quality control and certification of production; f) properties of structural materials, use the materials and taking into account their properties in the production and operation of metal structures; g) principles of design, operation and programming of microprocessor technology for production process control systems; h) basic methods of research and analysis of loads, displacements, the stress-strain state in structural elements, methods of design and testing calculations of products; i) methods of forming parts by using the machine tools, layout, structure, control systems of machine tools and basic principles of parts processing coding by using the CNC machines.
Skills: a) to work on modern computer technology and use specialized software for automated design and execution of special calculations in the field of applied mechanics; b) to develop and synthesize structural and basic schemes of technological equipping, compose and design components of assemblies, units, mechanisms, machines from individual parts and products; c) to reasonably select and use technological equipping; d) to choose construction materials for practical use taking into account their physical, mechanical properties; e) analyse and optimize the properties of systems by using the equivalent models and synthesize the block diagrams; f) to analyse the initial indicators for the choice of machine tools functional parameters in general and its elements in particular, to design individual units of machine tools and machines in general, to form the engineering documentation; g) to organize the work of technical departments of mechanical engineering profile production.
Communication: a) communication, including oral and written communication, Ukrainian and one of the foreign languages (English, German, French); b) use of special knowledge and terminology, in particular, in the field of applied mechanics and mechanical engineering, for communication at a professional level; c) verbal and written presentation of practical developments in the field of applied mechanics.
Academic mobility: On the basis of bilateral agreements between the University and other universities of Ukraine; bilateral agreements between the University and universities of partner countries.
Work placement(s): The program provides thorough practical training, acquaintance of students with the work of advanced machine-building enterprises in the region in order to acquire basic educational and professional skills along professional lines. Practical training involves the formation of professional competencies of the specialty necessary for further professional activity.
