Gained competence: - knowledge of production technological processes and their design and implementation methods; - knowledge of the basics of modern computerized devices construction, algorithms and techniques of programming and operation of personal computers; - awareness with the elements of engineering graphics, the use of modern computer software execution and editing of images and drawings for the preparation of technical documentation; - knowledge of engineering methods of calculation and selection, scope of classical and newest designs of cars, assembly units, mechanisms, parts, technological processes of welding used in modern mechanical engineering; - requirements for metalworking tools, selection principles tool materials, geometric parameters, design of the main types of tools, technological processes manufacture of metalworking tools; - basics of designing technological equipment for processing parts on metal-cutting machines, auxiliary tools, assembly equipment; - methods and systems of automated design of metalworking tools and technological equipment; - methods of forming parts on metal-cutting machines, layout, structure, control systems of machines and basic principles of programming the processing of parts on technological equipment equipped with numerical control systems.
- to work on modern computer equipment and to use specialized software for automated design and implementation of special calculations in the industrial machinery engineering; - to develop a design and appropriate technical documentation in compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents, using modern applications; - to organize measurements of physical, electrical, magnetic and other quantities, and to evaluate their accuracy at quality control and equipment certification; - to develop and synthesize structural and fundamental, and also to create settlement schemes of the equipment, to compose and design components of assemblies, units, mechanisms, machines from individual parts and products; - to make calculations when designing structures elements and components, taking into account advanced technological processes; - to analyze and optimize systems properties based on the use of their equivalent models; - to carry out synthesis of structural schemes; - to formulate technical requirements and develop algorithms of products functioning with microprocessor management; - to adhere to the rules of labor protection and life safety in professional and professional direction; - to choose construction materials for practical use taking into account their physical, mechanical properties; - to use software systems for automated design of metalworking tools, technological equipment and technological processes; - to make the optimal choice of material, method technological processing for the manufacture of parts and components of machines, to predict the behavior of materials and analyze the reasons of failure of machine parts when impact on them factors; - to analyze the initial indicators for the choice of functional parameters of machines in general and its elements, to design separate units of machines and machines in general, to draw up sets of design documentation.
- ability to communicate, including oral and written communication, in Ukrainian and one of the foreign languages (English, German, French); - ability to use various methods, in particular, mechanics, welding and mechanical engineering, for communication at professional and social level; - skills of verbal and written presentation of practical developments in the industrial machinery engineering.
