Skills:
- perform economic calculations to determine the cost of conducting research activities on individual projects and packaging products, creating and manufacturing packaging equipment;
- identify intellectual property objects, conduct an examination, draw up and file applications for inventions, utility models for patents, and license intellectual property objects for scientific and technical purposes;
- design, and calculate control systems for packaging equipment, technological processes of product packaging to fulfill the tasks, scientific experiments, implementation of modern packaging samples, containers, packaging materials, and technological equipment;
- to manage projects, conduct marketing activities, organize the work of scientific, design, and production units that develop and design new packaging technologies and packaging equipment;
- to make the optimal choice of packaging equipment, automation equipment, containers, and packaging materials to ensure the accuracy of positioning, rigidity, adjustability, and technological functionality of packaging equipment;
- apply modern methods and techniques of scientific research in the field of packaging;
- solve problems related to the study of packaging formation processes;
- apply mathematical methods of planning and conducting experiments and processing research results;
- to make a reasonable choice of optimal parameters, to make calculations in the design of technological equipment for packaging production and related processes at enterprises of various directions;
- synthesize models for the study and optimization of packaging manufacturing technology and packaging equipment designs, design of packaging processes in automatic lines;
- use programming tools to select optimal parameters of packaging equipment design elements and packaging processes;
- use multifunctional CAD/CAM/CAE software products;
- clearly and unambiguously present the results of research and projects, communicate their conclusions, arguments and explanations in the state and foreign languages orally and in writing to colleagues, students and representatives of other professional groups of different levels.
