Qualification requirements and regulations, including graduation requirements: Full completion of the curriculum, the qualification exam passing, practical training on the topic of the master's qualifying thesis and the master's thesis defense.
Characteristics of the educational program: The educational-professional program is based on fundamental postulates and results of modern theoretical and applied research in the field of economics and focuses on the current specialization "Business Economics, within which further professional and scientific career is possible: leader, manager, specialist, professional in economics, teacher of higher education.
Gained competence: – to formulate, analyze and synthesize solutions to scientific and practical problems – to communicate fluently on professional and scientific issues in state and foreign languages both in speaking and in writing – to adhere to the principles of academic integrity – to evaluate the results of their own work, demonstrate leadership skills and ability to manage staff and their work in a team – to identify and critically assess the state and trends of socio-economic development, to form and analyze models of economic systems and processes
– to develop, substantiate and make effective decisions about the development of socio-economic systems and management of economic entities – to develop socio-economic projects and a system of complex actions for their implementation, taking into account their goals, expected socio-economic consequences, risks, legislative, resource, and other constraints – to choose effective methods of managing economic activity, to substantiate the offered decisions on the basis of relevant data and scientific and applied researches – to collect, process, and analyze statistical data, scientific and analytical materials needed to solve complex economic problems – to make effective decisions under uncertain conditions and requirements that call for the application of new approaches, methods and tools of socio-economic research – to apply modern information technologies and specialized software in socio-economic research and management of socio-economic systems – to substantiate management decisions on the effective development of economic entities, taking into account the goals, resources, constraints, and risks – to assess possible risks, socio-economic consequences of management decisions – to develop scenarios and strategies for the development of socio-economic systems – to organize the development and implementation of socio-economic projects taking into account information, methodological, material support – to asess the level of the enterprise's competitiveness, identify its competitive advantages, develop and substantiate programs for increasing the enterprise's competitiveness – to assess the level of innovative development and the innovative potential of the enterprise, develop strategies and business models for the innovative development of the enterprise – to develop development scenarios and project financing models, justify project financing options, and form project financial budgets – to apply the tools of controlling and business analytics to substantiate proposals and make managerial decisions regarding business performance – to identify and evaluate the key parameters of business transformation, develop and substantiate decisions regarding the choice of the optimal method of enterprise transformation based on the use of methods and tools of economic management – to identify a system of business processes that allows to achieve defined strategic goals, implement its formalized description and carry out optimization
