Learning outcomes: • RN 1. Possession of sufficient knowledge in areas related to explosives, which will allow to critically analyze the situation and identify key trends in the industry. • RN 3. Understanding of tools and strategies related to diagnosing and analyzing the state of development of services for design, installation and operation of explosive systems at a level that will allow employment in the specialty, the ability to effectively use theoretical knowledge in the formation and implementation of design services , installation and operation of explosive systems. • RN 4. Knowledge of the basics of professionally oriented disciplines of specialty 192 "Construction and Civil Engineering": engineering networks and structures, research in construction, intellectual property, economic evaluation of innovative technologies and design solutions in construction, economics and enterprise management.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: • Theoretical mechanics and technical mechanics of liquids and gases, • Water supply and drainage, • Pumping and blowing stations, • Water chemistry and microbiology. Co-requisites: • Water Supply and Sewerage of Industrial Enterprises, • Treatment and Disposal of Sewage Sludge.
Summary of the subject: The composition and properties of wastewater. Water bodies and their protection from contamination by sewage. The methods and technological schemes for sewage treatment. Grates. Sands. The primary clarifiers. Biofilters. Aerotanks. The secondary clarifiers. Deep wastewater treatment. Disinfection of wastewater and release them into the water. Wastewater treatment of small settlements and individual buildings. Sewage treatment plants.
Assessment methods and criteria: • work of students during practical classes (10%), performance and defense of laboratory work (20%); • final control (exam): written-oral form (70%)

Summary of the subject: Determining the cost and concentrations of substances in wastewater. Determining the necessary degree of wastewater treatment. The method of sewage treatment and the types of treatment facilities. Calculation of the buildings mechanical, biological and deep cleaning of wastewater. The method of disinfection of treated wastewater. Issue of return water into the pond. The layout of the treatment facilities.
Assessment methods and criteria: • final control (test): defense of the project (100%)
