Summary of the subject: Design of frames of industrial buildings. Design of elements of frames of one-story industrial buildings: columns, crossbars, runs, crane structures, elm. Frames of multi-storey buildings. Covering buildings of large spans.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control is assessed on two components: the results of an oral survey or the implementation of an abstract according to the requirements (15 points), oral protection of practical tasks (15 points). Examination control includes 2 stages: written component (30 points) and oral component (40 points).

• knowledge of design principles steel frames of buildings on the basis of current building codes and state standards;
• knowledge of principles and methods of calculation of basic design elements of steel frames of industrial buildings;
• knowledge of the principles of creation of rational design forms in velekoprolitnyh design, high-rise buildings and bridges;
• knowledge of design documentation of steel structures of buildings.
