Learning outcomes: PRS701. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the basics of heat and mass transfer, hydrogas and aerodynamics, which occur in the technological processes of heat and gas supply, ventilation and air conditioning (TGPViK).
PRS706. Basic knowledge and understanding of special sections of the student's choice (gas supply, heat supply, microclimate formation systems) for the purpose of future specialization and development of interdisciplinary approaches.
PRS708. Creating an effective communication strategy to convey ideas, problems, solutions and personal experience in the field of heat and gas supply, ventilation and air conditioning, energy conservation, energy accounting, etc.
COM1. Reporting to specialists and non-specialists information, ideas, problems, solutions, own experience and argumentation.
COM2. Data collection, interpretation and application.
COM3. Communication on professional issues, including in a foreign language, orally and in writing

Summary of the subject: The use of combustible gases and protecting the environment. Distributing the gas supply system. Classification pipelines. The principal scheme of distribution systems. Underground and overground pipelines, gas pipelines passages of artificial and natural obstacles. Types of controls that are used in housing and communal sector. Gas household and municipal devices and their characteristics. The principle of operation and design. Requirements for installation and operation. Disqualification products of combustion. Gas supply homes with natural gas. Gas liquefied gas. Features gas liquefied gas facilities. Requirements for the construction of external and internal pipelines.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, oral examination (40%)
• final control (60% control measure, exam), written-oral form (60%)
