Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching this discipline is to give students in-depth knowledge of the selection and provision of optimal parameters of indoor air in air-conditioned rooms under different parameters of outdoor air thanks to the definition of a rational scheme for processing air-conditioned air, the selection of an air conditioning system (ACS) taking into account the characteristics of the building environment. project, choosing a method of cold supply, schemes of automatic regulation of the cold storage system, carrying out engineering calculations of elements of the cold storage system and elements of cooling supply systems. An important goal is also directing the efforts of future specialists to the implementation of tasks related to the reconstruction of existing enterprises, the saving of fuel and energy resources, and the use of non-traditional energy sources.

The ability to effectively plan, organize and control the process of managing commercial and state enterprises in the design, installation and operation of heating and gas supply and ventilation systems of buildings and structures. The ability to research and study the current situation with the further possibility of effective use of fuel and energy resources to maintain comfortable conditions in buildings and structures.
Learning outcomes: The ability to apply the acquired knowledge and understanding for the design and technical solutions of air conditioning systems, taking into account the peculiarities of the construction object to identify, formulate and solve the problems of the development of heating and gas supply and ventilation systems, using known methods. Apply knowledge to solve typical problems of synthesis and analysis in air conditioning systems in a complex of HGSandV systems. The ability to think systematically and apply creative abilities to the formation of fundamentally new ideas in the development of air conditioning systems. Ability to calculate, design, research market trends, conducts marketing analysis, introduce new products to the market.

Summary of the subject: The basics of the theory and technique of air conditioning and cooling using central air conditioners are described. Structural schemes and classification of central conditioning systems are highlighted. The main equipment of central air conditioners and the method of calculating irrigation chambers and air heaters are given. The I-d diagram shows the processes of air treatment under different schemes of air conditioning in central air conditioners. The artificial sources of cooling supply of central air conditioners and the method of calculating their cooling capacity, as well as the cooling supply system of condensers of refrigerating machines, are considered. The designated educational discipline for masters of specialty 192 "Heat gas supply and ventilation" full-time and part-time forms of education.

Air filters and its characteristics. Fan units of central ACS. Principle scheme and work of central straight flow ACS, ACS with І recirculation, ACS with І і ІІ recirculation аnd its calculation. Basic scheme and way of work of water vapor-compressor refrigerating machine (RМ) with heat exchanger for heat utilization. Scheme and way of work of thermostatic valve of vapor-compressor RМ. Temperature regime of work of water vapor-compressor RМ with heat exchanger for heat utilization. Representing of process of work of water vapor-compressor RМ on р-і–diagram. Cooling capacity of water vapor-compressor RМ. Recalculation of standard cooling capacity to working one. Scheme and way of work of spray pool and calculation of temperature of water chilled in a spray pool. Scheme and way of work cooling tower.
Assessment methods and criteria: Cumulative point-rating system, which involves evaluating students for all types of classroom and extra-curricular educational and scientific activities, aimed at mastering the educational load of the educational and professional program: current control, laboratory reports, oral presentations, defense of course projects and graphic and calculation works, written and oral exams and assessments; practice on the subject of the magister's qualification work, defense of the magister's qualification work.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
