Мета вивчення дисципліни: The discipline "Basic of hydraulic engineering" is included in the content of training for bachelors in the field of "Hydrotechnical construction, water technologies and water engineering". The discipline is classified as professional and practical training. Studying the discipline aims to give students knowledge about hydraulic construction and water engineering, as well as about the main areas of engineering activity in the field. The student's study of the discipline involves mastering the theoretical material in lectures and practical classes and through independent work with normative and educational literature. As a result of studying the discipline "Fundamentals of hydraulic engineering", the student should get a detailed idea of ??the specialty, familiarize himself with the modern water management of Ukraine and the basics of professional activity.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: integral competence: The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of hydraulic construction, water engineering and water technologies, characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions, based on the application of theories and methods of natural and engineering sciences. general competences: ZK2. Summary of the subject: Subject: theory, methods, calculation and arrangement of networks, systems and structures of water supply and drainage of populated cities and industrial enterprises. The discipline consists of the following blocks of meaningful modules: 1. General information about hydrotechnical structures. 2. Buildings of general purpose. 3. Special purpose buildings.
Опис: General information about water and its use. History of hydraulic engineering. The concept of hydraulic structures and their classification. Hydraulic units and hydraulic systems. General purpose buildings. Water retaining structures. Spill structures. Water supply system facilities. Special purpose buildings. Water reclamation facilities. Hydropower facilities. Environmental aspects of GTS operation. Water transport and fishery facilities. Anti-flood and anti-mud hydraulic structures. Coastal protection and erosion protection structures. Specific hydraulic structures. Water supply and drainage of settlements and industrial enterprises. Drinking water quality.
Assessment methods and criteria: The system of assessing students' knowledge, skills and abilities provides for the assessment of all forms of studying the discipline The teacher checks and evaluates students' knowledge in the following. 1. Assessment of students' work during practical classes. 2. Evaluation of the performance of an individual task (control work). 3. Carrying out the final event (testing).

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Evaluation of the student's educational achievements is carried out on a 100-point scale.
