Мета вивчення дисципліни: Physics belongs to the natural sciences that study the laws of the simplest forms of motion of matter. Therefore, the physics course is the foundation on which the theoretical and practical training of engineers and natural sciences specialists is built. Without it, it is impossible to form a specialist capable of independent creative activity at the level of the requirements of modern science and technology. The purpose of studying the physics course is: 1. to create a reliable scientific foundation for the future specialist on which his further special training is based; 2. to give the student the opportunity to orient himself in the main physical theories and the limits of their applicability, model approaches, and teach them to use them physically competently; 3. to form the skills of planning, carrying out and processing the results of measurements of physical quantities and interpretation of the obtained results of the experiment, including - assessment of their reliability and measurement errors; 4. to form a holistic scientific outlook in the field of physics; 5. help navigate the flow of scientific and technical information; 6. to create a level of knowledge in physics that will not allow the future specialist to make impulsive, willful and at the same time blatantly illiterate and physically dangerous decisions; 7. prepare students to study special disciplines in accordance with the professional training profile.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies (knowledge, abilities, skills) in students of education: general competences: 1. ZK02. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and professional activity.
Learning outcomes: PH01. Apply the main theories, methods and principles of mathematical, natural, social, humanitarian and economic sciences, modern models, methods and software tools to support decision-making to solve complex construction and civil engineering problems. PH02. Participate in research and development in the field of architecture and construction. PH08. Rational use of modern building materials, products and structures based on knowledge of their technical characteristics and manufacturing technology. ЗН1. Conceptual scientific and practical knowledge, critical understanding of theories, principles, methods and concepts in the field of professional activity and/or education. UM1. Advanced cognitive and practical skills/skills, mastery and innovation at the level necessary to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of professional activity or study. AiB5. Ability to continue learning with a significant degree of autonomy. Necessary mandatory preliminary and related academic disciplines: Preliminary academic disciplines: Physics (school course); Algebra (school course); Geometry (school course); Chemistry (school course). Associated and subsequent academic disciplines: Higher mathematics; Building structures; Construction materials science; Architecture of buildings and structures.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous subjects: Physics (school course); Algebra (school course); Geometry (school course); Chemistry (school course). Related and the following disciplines: Higher Mathematics; Theoretical mechanics; Construction materials science; Engineering geodesy; Strength of Materials; Technical mechanics of liquids and gases.
Summary of the subject: The course of physics consists of 22 lectures, 15 practical and 15 laboratory classes in the first semester. The lecture course covers eight sections, which outline the physical foundations of mechanics, molecular physics and thermodynamics, electrostatics, direct current, electromagnetism, wave optics, quantum nature of radiation, elements of solid state physics. Laboratory work is performed in mechanical-molecular, electrical and optical laboratories. Students after 8 and 17 lectures write works on check of independent work, and after 14 and 21 lectures - settlement - graphic works. At the end of the first semester, students take an exam.

Assessment methods and criteria: Methods: 1. Survey for admission to laboratory work (orally and through tests); 2. Survey in defense of laboratory work; 3. Surveys in practical classes; 4. Passing tests; 5. Evaluation of calculation and graphic works; 6. Exam - written form (questions and tasks - written answers); 7. Exam - oral component. Evaluation criterion: Current control (PC): 40 (Laboratory classes: 20; Practical classes: 5; Control of independent work: 10; RGR: 5). Examination control (EC): 60 (Written component: 50; Oral component: 10). Total for the discipline (PC + EC): 100.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control (PC): Laboratory classes: 1) 10 points – for solving tests for laboratory works; 2) 10 points – for performing laboratory work; Control of independent work: 1) 5 points – for solving 10 tests; RGR: 1) 5 points for 6 solved problems to your individual problem number; The maximum score for the current control is 40 points. Examination control: Written component: 1) two theoretical questions for 10 points each (manual check of the sent answer) 2) test questions – 10 questions for 1 point each (total maximum 10 points) 3) two problems of 10 points each (manual check of the answer) Oral component: Online answers to two short theoretical questions - 5 points maximum for one question. The time for preparing the answer is not provided. The maximum score for the exam is 60 points. The maximum grade for the PC + EC semester is 100 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 1. Criteria for evaluating answers to theoretical questions (10 points): "10" is a complete and comprehensive answer “9” is a mostly complete and comprehensive answer, but there are some minor inaccuracies "8" - basically the answer is complete, but there are minor inaccuracies “7” - the answer is given in the right direction, but not completely completed, about 75% done “6” - the answer is given in the right direction with a thorough explanation and illustrative material, but not completely completed, more than 50% done "5" - the answer is not completed, more than 50% is done in the right direction, but without an explanation of the move "4" - the answer is not completed, about 50% is done in the right direction, but without an explanation of the move "3" - the answer is not completed, about 25% is done in the right direction, but without an explanation of the move "2" - the correct final formula of the problem is given or a mathematical record of a physical law is made, but without an explanation or conclusion "1" - the answer is incorrect, but an attempt was made to solve it in the right direction "0" - there is no answer, or the answer is completely unrelated to the topic of the question. 2. Criteria for evaluating the task (10 points): "10" - the answer is correct "9" - the problem was solved to the correct final working formula, the calculation was carried out, but the dimensions were not checked "8" - the problem is solved to the correct final working formula, but the answer gives an incorrect value "7" - the problem is solved to the correct final working formula, but the calculation is not carried out "6" - right direction and is done about 80% "5" - right direction and is done about 60% "4" - right direction and about 40% is done "3" - right direction and is done about 20% "2" - tright direction and is done about 10% "1" - only formulas on the topic of the problem are recorded "0" - the answer is absent or is not given at all on the topic
