Summary of the subject: The discipline "Water Technologies" examines systematic scientific advances in the theory of water purification from heterogeneous and homogeneous impurities by mechanical, physical, chemical, physicochemical, biochemical and biological methods. The theoretical regularities of water purification from suspended matter in gravitational and centrifugal fields, filtration, flotation, electrochemical methods are presented. Removal of impurities of colloidal, molecular and ionic dispersion are considered on the basis of theoretical patterns of aggregation by coagulation, adsorption, extraction, ion exchange, biochemical, bactericidal and virucidal treatment of water, in particular under the action of radiation.
Опис: 1. Composition, characteristics of impurities and pollution of natural and wastewater 2. Theoretical bases of extraction of suspended substances by mechanical methods 3. Theoretical basis of extraction of pollutants by flotation and electroflotation 4. Theoretical foundations of water clarification by filtration 5. Theoretical basis of extraction of finely dispersed suspended substances and colloids from water by methods of aggregation of impurities 6. Theoretical foundations of adsorption and ion exchange water purification 7. Theoretical foundations of baromembrane technologies 8. Theoretical foundations of biological and biochemical water purification 9. Theoretical foundations of destructive water treatment
