Завдання: Ability to carry out engineering searches, calculations and design of objects of professional activity.
Learning outcomes: PH1. Formulate tasks for solving problem situations in professional and / or academic activities.
PH19. Preliminary displays of indicators of natural and man-made means of production, equipment, robots, production materials and products developed by special laboratories, laboratories and production enterprises of Ukraine.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: chemistry, physics; higher mathematics; engineering geodesy
Co-requisites: technical mechanics of liquids and gases; hydraulics of canals and structures; waterworks; hydrology and hydrometry.
Summary of the subject: The discipline considers the basic provisions of metrology and standardization, principles and basic concepts and definitions, some patterns in them, the connection of these sciences with people's lives. Examples of measurements, as well as tests of the studied objects are given. Methods of quality control of construction materials for newly constructed objects and for those which have been operated for some time are stated.
Опис: THEORETICAL PRINCIPLES OF METROLOGY. Metrology as a science of measurement. The metric system of measures. Metrology: basic concepts and definitions. State metrological organizations.
Physical quantities and their units. Standards and transfer of unit sizes to the working means of measurements.
ESSENCE AND CONTENT OF METROLOGY. Principles and methods of measurement in construction. Means of measuring technology.
Errors of measurement results. Verification of measuring equipment.
QUALITY CONTROL IN THE INDUSTRY OF CONSTRUCTION AND WATER MANAGEMENT. Organization of quality control and reception in construction. Checking the quality of materials and connections.
Quality control of structures and connections with penetrating liquids and gases. Assessment of material strength based on the mechanical characteristics of its surface layer.
Ultrasonic pulse method for determining the characteristics of materials. Determination of the position and diameter of reinforcement in reinforced concrete.
TESTING OF BUILDING AND HYDROTECHNICAL STRUCTURES. Methods of conducting tests of building structures. Selection of elements for testing. Selection of schemes and types of load.
Measuring devices for static tests and their application. Measurement of deformations.
Evaluation of the results of static tests. Dynamic tests of building structures.
THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL PRINCIPLES OF STANDARDIZATION. Standardization as the basis of quality. Principles and methods of standards. Categories and types of standardization. System of standards in industry and construction.
STANDARDS IN THE FIELD OF CONSTRUCTION AND WATER MANAGEMENT.
Basic regulatory documents in construction and water management, their classification and designation. A short list of regulatory documents in the field of water management.
Contents of the main regulatory documents in the field of water management.
DEVELOPMENT, APPROVAL AND IMPLEMENTATION OF STANDARDS.
Procedure for development, approval and implementation of standards.
System of design and technological documentation.
INTERNATIONAL STANDARDIZATION. CERTIFICATION.
International standardization. Product quality. Basics of product certification.
Assessment methods and criteria: Practical (PR) - 30 points; Test work - 50 points; Differentiated test - 20 points. Total for the discipline - 100 points.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: 00–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied, in their relationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
