Summary of the subject: Types of pumping stations of water supply and drainage systems. Appointment of pumping stations. Basic requirements for their facilities and equipment. Schematic diagrams of pumping stations. Types of pumping stations.
The main power and auxiliary equipment of pumping stations. Warehouse equipment of pumping stations. Drive motors of pumps of different types.
Garbage collection devices. Close. Latches, valves. Lifting and transport mechanisms. Equipment of systems of flooding of pumps, technical water supply, drainage and drainage.
Control and measuring equipment of pumping stations. Pipes and shaped parts of intra-station communications.

Summary of the subject: Water pumping stations
1. Calculation and explanatory note with sections: determining the capacity of the water tank; determination of pumping station productivity; determination of total head of pumps; selection of pumps and research of their joint work with water mains; design and calculation of suction and discharge lines inside the pumping station; determining the mark of the axis of the pumps and the floor of the pumping station; pumping station design.
2. Graphic part on a sheet of A1 paper: plan and sections of the pumping station; plan, units or schemes (axonometry of pipelines of main pumps, hydraulic shock absorbers, non-return valve, etc.).
Sewage pumping stations
1. Calculation and explanatory note with the following sections: distribution of wastewater inflow by hours of the day; selection of pumps; calculation of pressure pipelines; characteristics of pipelines; research of joint work of pumps with water mains; calculation of the number of switches on water mains; determining the capacity of the receiving tank; calculation of pump communications; design of pumping station.
2. Graphic part on a sheet of A1 paper: plan and sections of the pumping station; nodes or schemes of the pumping station.
Assessment methods and criteria: • final control (test): defense of the course project (100%)
