Summary of the subject: Structures for water intake from surface sources: coastal, river, and combined. Groundwater abstraction structures: wells; mine wells, radial water intakes, and horizontal watersheds. Hydraulic calculations of water intake structures. Artificial replenishment of groundwater. Zones of sanitary protection of surface and underground water sources.
Assessment methods and criteria: • current oral examination (30%) • final control (exam): written-oral form (70%)
