Мета вивчення дисципліни: Preparation of a specialist for production-technological, organizational-management, design and research work during the construction and operation of water supply and drainage structures and systems.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: Integral competence (INT) - the ability to solve complex engineering and technical and scientific research problems during professional activity in the field of architecture and construction, which involves the ability to perform a technical and economic comparison of alternative solutions, the application of modern methods of field research of the equipment of the BB systems, the use energy-saving technologies. Special professional competences: SC 01. The ability to integrate knowledge from other fields and specialized conceptual knowledge in construction and civil engineering, combined with compliance with applicable regulations, to solve complex problems in broad or multidisciplinary contexts. SK03. Ability to develop and implement projects in the field of construction and civil engineering. Special professional competences of a professional direction: SCP 1.1. The ability to conduct a comprehensive marketing research of services for the design, installation and operation of explosives systems, to develop and implement effective product, price, and sales policies of enterprises specializing in explosives; SCP 1.3. The ability to organize maintenance of the equipment of explosives systems (water intakes, main and distribution water pipes, treatment facilities, sanitary equipment) during their operation by the customer; SCP 1.4. The ability to achieve competitiveness through the introduction of modern, efficient equipment into explosives systems with simultaneous optimization of the price factor.
Learning outcomes: PH01. Design buildings and structures (according to specialization), including using computer design tools. РН02. Make effective project and technical decisions, taking into account the features of the construction object, aspects of social and ethical responsibility, technical and economic justification, determination of the optimal mode of its operation and implementation of resource and energy saving measures PH04. Summary of the subject: The objects of water management and environmental protection facilities include: municipal and agricultural water supply, reservoirs; irrigation systems, drainage systems and their hydrotechnical structures; hydrotechnical structures of large technical water supply systems of industrial and energy enterprises, structures, embankments of rivers, water management of hydroelectric power plants, etc. The purpose of teaching the course is the theoretical and practical preparation of students for the technical operation of water management and nature protection facilities.

Operation of the water supply network. Water consumption accounting and water loss assessment. Operation of internal water supply and sewerage systems. Operation of pumping stations. Operation of water treatment facilities. Operation of sewer networks. Causes and typical destruction of buildings, drainage, monitoring of the sewer network. Operation of sewage treatment plants. Operation of mechanical wastewater treatment facilities. Operation of biological wastewater treatment plant. Operation of facilities for sludge treatment at KOS.
Assessment methods and criteria: Methods of monitoring the results of student learning in the process of ongoing monitoring: - assessment of students' work during practical classes; - performance of test tasks in the Virtual Learning Environment of NU LP; – evaluation of the performance of laboratory classes; - conducting the final exam.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
