Мета вивчення дисципліни: The goal of the course study is defined as the formation of young scientists’ competences based on scientific knowledge and skills in the field of professional pedagogy, the ability to transform knowledge, necessary for active professional, pedagogical, and scientific activities, acquaintance with the methods of professional training in higher education, acquisition of elements of pedagogical competence in the field of educational process management, as well as organization of research work in a higher education institution.
Завдання: The study of the discipline involves the formation of students' competencies: Integral competence: ability to produce innovative scientific ideas, master the methodology of scientific and pedagogical activities, solve complex problems in the process of innovative research and professional activities, conduct original research in the professional sphere at the international and national level. General competence: the ability to organize and conduct classes of various organizational forms, apply traditional and innovative methods and pedagogical technologies for personal, professional and social development of the specialist, based on universal values, professional values and attitudes, achievements of a pedagogical science and innovative ideas in the field of education. Knowledge of: theoretical and methodological fundamentals, conceptual and categorical apparatus of professional pedagogy; the essence of educational process organization; modern approaches to planning, organizing and conducting educational, research and educational activity with student youth; methodological requirements for the classes preparing and conduct, their educational and methodological support; continuous professional development and pedagogical proficiency of the research and pedagogical worker. Skills: to search, analyze, interpret information and form a base of professional knowledge; to design the goals, tasks, the core and results of learning, to develop and use didactic means of methodical support of classes, to analyze and statistically process students’ learning results; to establish communication processes with students, colleagues, the public; organize and conduct group and individual educational work, identify and develop creative abilities of the individual; analyze pedagogical situations and solve pedagogical problems. Communication: advanced communication on issues related to the field of scientific and expert knowledge, with colleagues, the general scientific community, society as a whole; use of academic Ukrainian and foreign languages in professional activities and research. Responsibility and Autonomy: demonstrate substantial authority, innovation, high level of autonomy, scholarly and professional integrity and sustained commitment to the development of new ideas or processes at the forefront of work or study contexts including research; ability to continuous self-development and self-improvement.
Learning outcomes: The purpose of professional educational institutions is to train specialists who, after obtaining the appropriate education, can start production activities, solve production and scientific problems and be responsible for the decisions made. Ability to apply specialized knowledge, strategies and technologies to solve current problems in the field of vocational education, science and innovation based on the expansion and reassessment of existing knowledge; demonstrate skills of independent planning, organization and implementation of scientific research, flexible thinking, openness to new knowledge, critically evaluate their own results; organize and conduct group and individual educational work, identify and develop creative abilities of the individual; analyze pedagogical situations and solve pedagogical problems. Communication: free communication on issues related to the field of scientific and expert knowledge, with colleagues, the general scientific community, society as a whole in professional activities and research. Autonomy and responsibility: demonstration of significant authority, innovation, high degree of independence, academic and professional integrity, constant commitment to the development of new ideas or processes in the advanced contexts of professional and scientific activities; ability to constant self-development and self-improvement.

Summary of the subject: In the process of studying the discipline the following issues are considered: the basics of professional pedagogy and features of the organization of the educational process and the process of professional training of future specialists; regular connections that form the basis of development, education and training in higher education, as well as the development on this basis of methodological, theoretical and methodological problems of becoming a highly qualified specialist; basic didactic approaches to the formation and development of skills and ensuring a quality educational process in higher education in accordance with modern educational standards and current legislation in the field of vocational education.

General basics of professional education. Topic 4. Structure of professional education institutions. Topic 5. Personal and professional development of a future specialist in vocational education institutions. Topic 6. Didactics of professional education. Topic 7. Methods of theoretical professional training. Topic 8. Methods of practical professional training. Topic 9. Organization of students' educational activities. Topic 10. Organization and method of performance of qualifying written examination (course, diploma, master's) work: general characteristics. Topic 11. The personality of the teacher in the education system.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control in practical classes is carried out in order to identify the readiness of the applicant for higher education of the third educational and scientific level of Doctor of Philosophy in the following forms: selective oral examination at the beginning of the lesson; frontal standardized survey on cards, tests for 5-10 minutes; individual check of performance of practical works; assessment of the activity of the applicant for higher education during classes, suggestions, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, additions to previous answers, etc. Test questions are divided into: test tasks - choose the correct answers; problem tasks - creating situations of a problematic nature; replica questions - identify cause-and-effect relationships. Final control is carried out based on the results of current control and performance of test tasks. No forms of violation of academic integrity are accepted. In case of detection of any form of violation of academic integrity, measures are taken in accordance with the Regulations on the Code of Corporate Culture of the National University. "Lviv Polytechnic" (Order № 149-1-10 from 19.03.2020). Credit (differentiated credit) is a form of final control, which consists in assessing the assimilation of the graduate student (applicant) of educational material in the discipline in total for all types of work provided by the work program of the discipline. Execution of training test tasks on the topic of each lecture. Execution of one test task is estimated at 3 points automatically in the ANS. A total of 15 test tasks - the maximum amount of points - 45. The implementation of practical work on each topic is estimated at 5 points. A total of 8 practical works - the maximum amount of points - 40. The oral component is estimated at 15 points. Total - 100 points.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The educational discipline "Actual problems of professional education" involves the study of the basics of professional pedagogy and the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process and the process of professional training of the future specialist; natural connections that exist between development, education and training in a professional education institution; development on this basis of methodological, theoretical and methodical problems of becoming a highly qualified specialist in any field of material or spiritual production;basic didactic approaches to the formation and development of abilities and skills, ensuring a high-quality educational process in a vocational and technical educational institution and an institution of higher education in accordance with modern educational standards and current legislation in the field of professional education. Part of the educational material is given for independent study. Independent work involves the processing of literary sources, lecture material, the performance of tasks presented in the methodological recommendations for independent work, work in a virtual learning environment, the mandatory element of which is the performance of test tasks for each topic, preparation for practical classes, performance of tasks,provided by methodical recommendations for practical classes, as well as the implementation of an individual research task. Distribution of points on a 100-point scale Current control - 50 points, performance of practical work - 40, oral component is estimated at 10 points. Total - 100 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Credit (differentiated credit) is a form of final control, which consists in of assessing a post-graduate student's mastering of educational material in the course in total for all types of activities provided by the working program of the course: 1. Accomplishment of training tests to each lecture. Accomplishment of every test is assessed at 5 points automatically in the VLE. The deadline for test accomplishment is determined at two weeks after the lecture. A total of points for 7 tests – 35 points. 2. Accomplishment of practical work for each topic. The accomplishment of each practical work is assessed at 5 points. The deadline for practical work to every topic is determined as two weeks after the practical class. A total of points for 7 practical works – 35 points. Practical works are carried out by the post-graduate student according to methodical recommendations and are assessed by the teacher on the following criteria: - the presence of a post-graduate student in a practical class and participation in discussion of theoretical issues – 1 point; - argumentation of the prepared practical work during its defense – 3 points; - registration of the performed practical work according to the established requirements and deadlines in VLE – 1 point. 3. Accomplishing an individual research assignment involves the development of a mini-didactic project of any organizational form of education based on innovative approaches. The accomplishment of an individual research assignment is assessed at 30 points according to the following criteria: - justification for the chosen research direction – 2 points; - argumentation of the presentation and formulation of the triune goal, research objectives and methods for the goal achievement – 5 points; - logic of construction, establishment of causal relations, innovation and quality of the mini-didactic project design – 15 points; - formulation of conclusions – 3 points; - work defense – 5 points.
