Learning outcomes: Ability to solve complex specialized problems and practical problems during professional activity in the political sphere and to apply theories and methods of political science in conducting scientific research.

ЗН 6. Ability to solve tasks and make informed decisions, effectively plan and manage time, work independently and in a team, represent new ideas and projects in the chosen field.
УМ 5. To execute relevant research and apply research skills in the field of political science, conduct scientific discussions in Ukrainian and foreign languages at the appropriate professional level, present the results of scientific research, conduct training sessions.

Summary of the subject: Organization of educational and educational-methodical work in higher education. Forms of education. Lecture. Seminar. Methods of preparing and lecturing. Writing syllabi. Seminars on socio-political disciplines: methods of their preparation and conduct. Teaching political science: taking into account the profile of training. Practices of application of interactive methods in teaching of social and political disciplines. Discussion as an effective method of conducting classes in socio-political disciplines. The use of the case method in the educational process. Methodical work. Methodical work. The system of quality assessment of different types of student work. Organization and methods of student research. Academic integrity. Organization of independent work of students. Practical work (Prepare and conduct a seminar).
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (100%): preparation of presentations on a given topic, preparation of a syllabus, conducting a seminar.
