Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline and learning outcomes: Study of the theories of modern organic chemistry that exist in modern world literature, which relate to the mechanisms of the course of reactions of organic substances, modern views on the chemical structure, study of modern methods of analysis of organic substances. 1. Principles of modern classification and nomenclature of organic compounds. 2. The relationship between the structure of organic substances and their reactivity and properties. 3. Analysis of modern principles of assessment of chemical properties of organic compounds, which are the basis of synthesis and analysis of organic substances. 4. The study of the program material will be carried out through lectures and independent work of graduate students.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: The ability to produce innovative scientific ideas, to master the methodology of scientific and pedagogical activity, to solve complex problems in the process of innovative research and professional activity, to conduct original scientific research at the international and national level. 1. In-depth knowledge of the theoretical foundations and applied principles of chemistry, understanding of modern trends in the development of chemical science. 2. The ability to initiate and conduct original scientific research, identify relevant scientific problems, search for and critically analyze information, produce innovative constructive ideas, and apply non-standard approaches to solving complex and atypical tasks. professional competences: 1. In-depth understanding of the peculiarities of the course of chemical processes and phase transformations from the point of view of chemical thermodynamics. Understanding the influence of the structure of substances on their individual properties and reactivity. 2. Deep understanding of processes of organic synthesis, mechanisms of chemical reactions, prediction of properties of new promising products of organic synthesis. 3. Understanding of modern scientific theories and methods of synthesis of biologically active compounds and drugs, their identification, control of benign quality and purity.
Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes in accordance with the educational program, learning and teaching methods, methods of evaluating the achievement of learning outcomes As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: • In-depth knowledge of thermodynamics of chemical processes and phase transformations. • In-depth knowledge of the patterns connecting the structure of a compound with its properties and reactivity. • Knowledge of theoretical and applied problems of modern organic chemistry and methods of organic synthesis. • Apply the acquired knowledge from various subject areas of chemistry to formulate and substantiate new theoretical propositions and practical recommendations in a specific area of research. The ability to independently process the results of scientific research and calculate them using analytical and numerical methods. • The ability to plan and carry out the functionalization of organic compounds, determine the choice of optimal methods of obtaining and process parameters, manage their implementation, using methods of organic synthesis. • Apply knowledge about the regularities of the relationship between the chemical structure and physical, chemical and pharmacological properties when solving theoretical and applied problems in the creation of new medicines. • Apply knowledge of chemical thermodynamics to real processes, predict thermodynamic properties and reactivity of substances. • AiB1 Ability to independently conduct scientific research and make decisions Learning outcomes РН1 ЗН1 In-depth knowledge of thermodynamics of chemical processes and phase transformations. Summary of the subject: Abstract of the academic discipline The course "Research seminar on modern organic chemistry" is devoted to the study of the basics of the modern theory of the chemical structure of organic substances, the connection of the chemical structure with the reactivity and properties of substances, the study of the mechanisms of the transformation of organic substances and the peculiarities of the course of the most important reactions, the study of the theories of modern organic chemistry that exist in the modern world scientific literature, which relate to the mechanisms of the course of reactions of organic substances, modern views on the chemical structure, the study of modern methods of analysis of organic substances. The teaching of the course involves the broad participation of students in discussing theoretical issues and practical foundations of conducting the most important reactions and syntheses.
Опис: Description of the academic discipline The course consists of five sections. Section names: 1. Chemical bond and structure of organic compounds 2. Stereochemistry 3. General theory of organic reactions. General principles of reactivity. 4. Main types of intermediate particles 5. The main types of reactions in organic chemistry and their mechanisms.

Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control (PC): essay - only 25 points. Total for PC – 25 points. Examination control: written component 55 points, oral component – 20 points. Total for the discipline - 100 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical principles when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical principles when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
