The purpose of teaching the discipline is for students to study modern methods and means of verification (metrological verification) of measuring equipment (MET), to acquire the ability to conduct a measuring experiment and to work out its results in order to establish the compliance of the tested MT to the requirements of regulatory documents (ND) and suitability for use
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: ? understanding of the cause-and-effect relationships of the development of society and the ability to use them in professional and social activities; ? basic knowledge of the fundamental sections of mathematics and physics to the extent necessary for mastering the mathematical apparatus of the specialty "Metrology and information-measuring technology", the ability to use mathematical methods and physical effects in the chosen profession; ? basic knowledge in the field of informatics and modern information technologies; ? provision of social, natural and man-made security; ? the ability to collect, analyze and systematize scientific and technical information. professional competences: ? basic knowledge of the basic concepts and terms of metrology and measuring technology, the organization of the metrological system in Ukraine in the field of FTA verification; ? main regulatory documents (ND) in the field of FTA verification - technical regulations, standards, methods, legal acts, etc.; ? basic knowledge about units of quantities, their reproduction and storage, standards of quantities; ? basic knowledge of measurement methods and methods of verification of FTAs and methods of their implementation, ways of automating the FTA verification procedure.
Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes in accordance with the educational program, learning and teaching methods, methods of evaluating the achievement of learning outcomes As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: - the ability to analyze the conditions of conducting a measurement experiment for the verification of the FTA, to choose the appropriate method and means of measurement and to conduct a measurement experiment for the verification of the FTA; - the ability to process the experimental data of the verification of the FTA, to draw a conclusion about the compliance of the FTA with the requirements of the ND, which regulate its metrological characteristics, and to draw up the relevant documents; - the ability to evaluate the accuracy of the results of FTA verification in order to establish their reliability

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Verification of measuring equipment" is one of the main mandatory professional disciplines of professional and practical master's training in specialty 152 "Metrology and information and measuring equipment". The purpose of teaching the discipline is for students to study modern methods and means of verification (metrological verification) of measuring equipment (MET), to acquire the ability to conduct a measuring experiment and to process its results in order to establish the conformity of the tested MT to the requirements of regulatory documents (ND) and its suitability for use . The discipline "Verification of measuring equipment" consists of a lecture course, a laboratory workshop, calculation work (for full-time students) and control work (for part-time students). The structure of the course "Verification of measuring equipment" and its teaching methodology are aimed, first of all, at the consideration of issues that are common to the verification of various types of METs intended for the measurement of various types of quantities of both electrical and non-electrical nature, as well as issues related to the calibration of METs: ¦ study and analysis of FTA verification methods, since the same method can be used to verify different types of FTA. For example, by the method of direct comparison of the tested test equipment with the reference one, the verification of direct evaluation measuring devices intended for measuring both electrical quantities - ammeters, voltmeters, wattmeters, etc., and non-electrical quantities - liquid and gas flow meters, manometers, viscometers, etc. .; ¦ study and analysis of measurement methods, since the same method of FTA verification can be implemented by using different measurement methods, which determines the methodology of processing FTA verification results and assessing their accuracy. For example, the method of comparing the FTA under test with the reference one with the help of a comparator can be implemented by using such measurement methods as the substitution method, the contrast method, the differential and zero methods; ¦ assessment of the accuracy of the results of the verification of the FTA and their reliability is carried out according to the method of calculating the uncertainty (uncertainty) of the measurement result in the procedure of verification and calibration of the FTA, which is calibrated, which corresponds to the modern trends in the development of world metrology. The material of the course "Verification of measuring equipment" can be used by students in the process of completing master's qualification works.

Recording of measurement results The method of processing the results of direct measurements with multiple observations with a normal distribution of errors of the results of individual observations. Establishing interval evaluations Hypothesis testing regarding the accuracy and correlation of groups of experimental data. Processing of the results of uneven measurements Calculation of error characteristics of mediated measurements with one-time observations. Expressions of errors of indirect measurements. Processing of errors in the results of indirect measurements with multiple observations Processing of the results of aggregate and compatible measurements. Formation of a system of normal equations by the method of least squares. Evaluation of the errors of the results of aggregate and compatible measurements Checking the stationarity of series. Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The evaluation of learning results is carried out in accordance with the quality and completeness of the tasks of current control, calculation-graphic, course, credit control, qualification works, as well as the defense of course and qualification works.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: The procedure and criteria for assigning points and assessments 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interconnection and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
