UN6 - to conduct a scientific conversation and discussion in Ukrainian and English at the appropriate professional level, present the results of scientific research in oral and written form, organize and conduct training sessions. COM1 - the ability to communicate in a business scientific and professional language, apply different styles of speech, methods and techniques of communication, demonstrate a broad scientific and professional vocabulary. Summary of the subject: Rhetoric is the formation of profound knowledge in the field of public speaking, the ability to make oral speeches, to understand the versatility of public speaking. The study of rhetoric develops a communicative understanding, as well as an introduction to the means of overcoming the difficulties and barriers of communication associated with research and teaching. The purpose of the discipline is to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge from the main genres of scientific speeches and communication. Development and compilation of algorithms based on an understanding of the main categories of rhetoric. Mastering the laws, principles, rules of rhetoric and practical aspects of judicial rhetoric. Mastering the practical methods of organizing speech activity in the field of science and pedagogical practice. Promoting the establishment of prospective legal scholars. Assessment methods and criteria: Assessment of the results of training of applicants is carried out in accordance with the Regulations on the rating evaluation of achievements of applicants at the National University "Lviv Polytechnic". Practical classes are conducted on the basis of consolidation of theoretical material with acquisition of skills, abilities and creative abilities in the future educational, scientific and professional legal activity. Independent work is planned as a form of study aimed at assisting in the study of the proposed literature, in search of answers to problematic questions of the course, mastering the practical tasks of the course. This form of work is essential for applicants. SC is held in the form of credit for the accumulation system, in terms provided by the schedule of the educational process of the University.
