Мета вивчення дисципліни: The educational discipline "Methodology of scientific research in environmental protection technology" belongs to the cycle of disciplines of professional and practical training of specialists and provides a holistic view of the methodology of scientific research activity, theory, methods, technologies with the aim of attracting students to scientific research work, mastering research skills under time for writing reports, articles and qualification papers. The aim of the discipline is to acquire theoretical knowledge on the methodology of conducting scientific research work and to acquire practical skills and abilities in using methods and means of organizing and carrying out scientific research in ecology.
Завдання: - the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems during professional activities in the field of natural sciences, environmental protection technologies, technologies for restoring disturbed ecosystems and in the learning process, which involves the application of methods and means of environmental protection and are characterized by the complexity of conditions, as well as the practical implementation of the obtained results; - systematic knowledge of modern research methods in the field of ecology, nature conservation and environmental protection; - critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new ideas, the ability to initiate and conduct original scientific research, identify relevant scientific problems, search for and critically analyze information, produce innovative constructive ideas and apply non-standard approaches to solving complex and atypical tasks; professional: - ability to apply and integrate knowledge and understanding of disciplines in other natural and technical fields; - the ability to investigate environmental problems and determine limitations, including those caused by anthropogenic, man-made, and production factors affecting environmental safety and the safety of life; - the ability to argue for the choice of nature protection, nature protection and nature restoration methods for solving specialized environmental problems, to critically evaluate the obtained results and defend the adopted
Learning outcomes: Mastering the theoretical knowledge on methodology of scientific research, the acquisition of practical skills for using methods and means of implementation and research in ecology. - the ability to demonstrate systematic knowledge of modern research methods in the field of environmental protection technology; - the ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in the chosen field of scientific research; - the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the impact of technical solutions in a public, economic and social context. ability to analyze, evaluate, process, interpret and synthesize environmental information and form databases; - to use professionally profiled knowledge and practical skills from fundamental disciplines in the technologies of protection, preservation and restoration of the environment. - the ability to use knowledge about ensuring environmental safety for the development and adoption of management decisions. - the ability to present and discuss the obtained results and transfer the acquired knowledge; - the ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen acquired and acquire new professional knowledge; - the ability to demonstrate understanding of the basic principles of occupational health and safety and their application.

Опис: The discipline "Methodology of scientific research in ecology" studies the essence of the processes of organization of scientific research work in Ukraine, methodological foundations of scientific knowledge and creativity, directions of scientific research and stages of the GDR, search, accumulation and processing of scientific information, conducting theoretical and experimental research in ecology, methods processing of the results of experimental research, registration of the results of scientific work, implementation and effectiveness of scientific research.
Assessment methods and criteria: - The current control (30%) are workshops, oral interviews and test; - The final control (70%) is a credit.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: A - grade "excellent" (88-100 points). • B – grade "good" (80-87 points). • C - grade "good" (71-79 points). • D - grade "satisfactory" (61-70 points). • E - grade "satisfactory" (50-60 points)/ • FX – grade "unsatisfactory" with the possibility of retaking the exam (26-49 points)
