Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of the following competencies in students of education: Integral competence INT Ability to solve complex problems in the field of social work, to carry out own scientific research, the results of which have scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance; apply modern methodologies of scientific and scientific-pedagogical activity. General competences: ZK 03 Ability to work in an international context. Special competences: SK 02 Ability to use modern electronic information resources, specialized software in scientific and educational activities for modeling processes and making optimal decisions in the field of social work.
Learning outcomes: K1 Work in an international context, including participation in international professional and scientific events; understand and produce foreign scientific texts; K2 Communicate in Ukrainian and foreign languages both orally and in writing in professional activities and research; AB2 Apply modern electronic information resources, specialized software in scientific and educational activities to model processes and make optimal decisions in the field of social work
Required prior and related subjects: prerequisites: • Philosophy and methodology of science; • Research seminar in the field of sociology and social work requisites: • Research methods and methodology in social work • Actual problems of social and humanitarian sciences (in the field of social work)
Summary of the subject: In the course of studying the discipline "Construction of academic texts and academic integrity", students must learn the peculiarities of writing academic texts in the field of social work, socio-humanities, in which, in compliance with the principles of academic integrity, the results of their research work will be presented. Special attention is paid to the ethical principles of scientific research in the field of social and humanitarian sciences. The study of the discipline involves the work of the students in lectures and the performance of practical tasks on each topic.
Опис: Basic characteristics of the academic writing. The modern concept of academic literacy and its structure. The concept of "personal process - practice - public product" in the creation of academic texts. Academic text: organization and technologies of work. The integrity of the academic text. Models of academic text construction. Technologies of generation and organization of ideas. Creative thinking. Academic text as a system. Academic integrity as a guarantee of quality higher education. Academic culture: concepts, functions, components. Academic dishonesty and methods of its prevention. Bucharest Declaration of Ethical Principles of Higher Education. Organizational, legal and technical factors of academic (dis)honesty. The use of software tools for checking scientific papers as a decisive factor in identifying manifestations of academic dishonesty. Copyright and intellectual property. Legal basis for the protection of intellectual property rights.
Assessment methods and criteria: • oral interview, participation in discussions, presentation of the research project (40%) • final control (control measure, exam): written and oral form (60%)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Report - 4 b. – quality of knowledge – its completeness, depth, flexibility, systematicity, strength; - correct use of conceptual and terminological apparatus; - speech culture (literacy, logic and sequence of presentation); - the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions. Supplement - 1 b. a scientifically based statement that reveals the essence of phenomena, processes, patterns. Performance of interactive exercises or case analysis - 4 b. - the sequence of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study; - approaches to solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study; - the quality of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study; - disclosure of cause-and-effect relationships between phenomena and processes during the solution of the situation proposed in the exercise or case.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak, inaccurate or little knowledge of the educational material of the component reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
