Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of the following competencies in students of education:
Integral competence: Ability to solve complex problems in the field of social work, to carry out own scientific research, the results of which have scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance; apply modern methodologies of scientific and scientific-pedagogical activity
General competences:
ZK 02. Ability to develop projects and manage them.
Special competences:
SK 03. The ability to identify, set and solve problems
of a research nature in the field of social work;
evaluate and ensure the quality of performed works and present the results of own scientific research;
SK 06. Ability to contribute to the development of theory and practice
social work on the basis of health care
enrichment of the industry with the results of scientific research, integration
theories and practices of social work, creation of innovative
social services to solve complex problems.
Learning outcomes: ZN 2. Have advanced conceptual and methodological skills
knowledge in the field of social work and on the border of subject areas;
Mind 1. Develop and implement scientific and/or
innovative projects that provide an opportunity to rethink
existing and create new holistic knowledge and/or professional
practice and solve significant scientific problems of social work.

Summary of the subject: The study of the discipline "Research seminar in the field of sociology and social work" involves the assimilation by students of modern methods of planning and conducting scientific research, which relate to the current problems of modern society, mainly domestic, using the methods adopted in the social and humanitarian sciences. The ability to convey the results of research to different groups of consumers of scientific information is also being formed.
Опис: Introduction to the course. Peculiarities of scientific knowledge as a form of reflection of reality. Organization of scientific research. Basic socio-humanitarian paradigms and their heuristic potential. The logic of the presentation of the material in scientific research (on the example of a dissertation). Empirical research in scientific work and its design. Determination of areas of application of research results and formulation of recommendations of an applied nature. Conclusions in scientific research (on the example of a dissertation). Bibliographic apparatus in scientific works. Notes and appendices in the dissertation research. Graphic design of scientific work. Ethical aspects in scientific research and academic integrity.
Assessment methods and criteria: • oral interview, participation in discussions, presentation of the research project (40%)
• final control (control measure, exam): written and oral form (60%)

- the level of meaningfulness of knowledge - the ability to formulate independent evaluation judgments and theoretical conclusions.

Performance of interactive exercises or case analysis - 4 b.
- the sequence of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- approaches to solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- the quality of solving the situation proposed in the exercise or case study;
- disclosure of cause-and-effect relationships between phenomena and processes during the solution of the situation proposed in the exercise or case.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak, inaccurate or little knowledge of the educational material of the component reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems;
