Learning outcomes: Gaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of public administration and related fields, including research methodology. The level of this knowledge should be sufficient to conduct research at the level of the latest world achievements and aimed at their expansion and deepening. Ability to clearly and effectively describe intensive, deep and detailed results of scientific work. Knowledge of the specifics of the process of institutional development of public administration, its basic patterns, trends and dynamics of development, interaction with civil society institutions, business in the field of public administration. Ability to complete an extended original study based on a critical review of sources and provided with the necessary scientific apparatus such as notes, bibliography and publication of relevant documents. Ability to describe, analyze and explain the historical, philosophical and institutional principles of public administration. Ability to choose and apply effective mechanisms of administration in order to create conditions for socio-economic development of the state and society. Acquiring in-depth knowledge of the specialty, including the ability to identify, evaluate and justify strategic directions of development of government institutions in Ukraine, systemic changes in legislation as a basis for innovation in public administration, conceptual approaches to building human resources, develop new approaches and adapt best practices governance and e-democracy to the needs of sustainable development. Ability to apply European experience of governance in the public sphere. Ability to identify directions of business restructuring at the micro level in the main sectors of the EU economy in the context of deepening regional integration. Ability to communicate in business scientific and professional language, apply different speech styles, methods and techniques of communication, demonstrate a broad scientific and professional vocabulary. Ability to formulate own author's conclusions, suggestions and recommendations.

Summary of the subject: The basis of the discipline is the development of graduate students' modern approaches to the application of modern concepts of public governance and public management in theoretical research and in the development of applied recommendations in the field of public management.
Assessment methods and criteria: Final assessment for all components - 100 points - 30 of them - current control, 40 - team training and research task, 30 - individual analysis of the practical situation (case study).
