Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competences in students of education: general: IT is the ability to identify and solve complex problems in the field of international economic relations, to put forward hypotheses and generate new ideas for their complex solution, which involves a deep rethinking of existing and the creation of new integral knowledge in the process of research and innovation activities and professional practice. professionals: FC 3 ability for analytical thinking and practical skills of information systematization for the purpose of processing large data sets, evaluation and forecasting of international economic and social phenomena.
Learning outcomes: As a result of the discipline the student should know: theoretical and organizational basis for implementation services in the international stock market; the foundations of operations with the securities; the legal regulation of the stock market in Ukraine and abroad. The specialist must: be able to analytical thinking and practical skills of systematization of information in order to process large data sets, assess and forecast international economic and social phenomena; to generalize, think critically and analyze the phenomena and problems studied, to show flexibility in decision-making on the basis of logical arguments and verified facts in the conditions of limited time and resources on the basis of general scientific methodology; to have a scientific holistic view of the economic unity of the world, the regulatory mechanisms of international economic relations at the national, regional and international levels in the modern processes of convergence and divergence; possess analytical thinking and methods of systematization of information processing of large data sets, assessment and forecasting of economic and social phenomena; possess analytical thinking and methods of systematization of information processing of large data sets, assessment and forecasting of economic and social phenomena; identify scientific and practical problems, prepare scientific texts and reports, carry out public testing of research results in both state and foreign languages, demonstrate oral and written communication.

Summary of the subject: Overview of the international stock market. Overview of market securities traded on international stock markets. Action. Bonds. Bills of exchange. Deposit certificates. Options. The indices.
Опис: The educational discipline is dedicated to the study of the following issues: value and purpose of securities, securities markets and their classification, types of securities, methods of securities issuance, features of formation and assessment of profitability and riskiness of a securities portfolio; the essence and purpose of the main securities of shares (shares, bonds, promissory notes), determination of the market value; definition and types of derivatives (futures, options), requirements relating to futures, the procedure for issuing and investing futures, an offset agreement with futures contracts, hedging operations: purpose and application; the role of hedging in the trade of a country with a market economic system, the relationship of prices on the futures and spot markets; long and short hedging: execution algorithm; categories used in options transactions, call and put options, open and closed positions, open option contracts, option quotations, options transactions and distribution of issuer's and investor's profits and losses when the market value of the underlying asset changes; indices of business activity of stock and commodity exchanges: definition, purpose and methods of calculation, Dow-Jones index, "Index-65", "Standard & Poor's-500" and "Standard & Poor's-100" indices, indices of the New York Stock Exchange - NYSE, indices of the American Stock Exchange - AMEX, composite index "Value Line-1700", agreements with stock indices, options and futures contracts on stock indices.
Assessment methods and criteria: - Current control (30%): oral questioning, work in the practice, performance of calculation and graphic work; - Final control (70%): semester control (written and oral component)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The final semester grade on a 100-point scale is converted into a state grade in accordance with the system adopted at the University: • 88-100 points – "excellent" • 71-87 points - "good" • 50-70 points – "satisfactory" • 0-49 points – "not satisfactory". • The grade "excellent" (88-100 points) is awarded for complete, systematized knowledge. The student must correctly answer the assigned tasks and solve the practical tasks, minor mechanical errors are allowed that do not significantly distort the overall result of the practical tasks. • The grade "good" (71-87 points) assumes that, in general, having mastered the material, the student answers most of the tasks correctly and makes minor inaccuracies and individual errors when solving practical problems. • A grade of "satisfactory" (50-70 points) is assigned to a student who has significant deficiencies in solving the assigned tasks and has gaps in practical knowledge, but tried to solve problems where he could have made mistakes. • The grade "unsatisfactory" (less than 50 points) is given to a student who does not understand the essence of the questions, does not know the basic concepts of the subject and did not answer them correctly.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Procedure and criteria for assigning points and grades: • execution and defense of control works (2 works of 15 points each) – 30 points; • for performance of the control measure (examination task) – 70 points (50 – written component, 20 – oral component).
