Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline and learning outcomes is to form students' understanding of the conditions and factors of formation, mechanisms and tools of functioning of the global economic system, awareness of their intellectual mission to make balanced management decisions in the context of overall civilizational progress.
Завдання: 1. ability for written and oral communication in Ukrainian and English (or other) languages; 2. the ability to evaluate and forecast international political, economic, social events and phenomena; 3. the ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis, which allows you to formulate conclusions (diagnosis) for various types of complex management tasks, plan, analyze, control and evaluate one's own work and the work of others; 4. the ability to conduct research at an appropriate level, to have research skills that are manifested in the ability to form (by making presentations or presenting reports) new products in the chosen field, to choose appropriate directions and appropriate methods for their implementation, taking into account available resources.
Learning outcomes: 1. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the parameters and factors of the current international economic environment, integration and globalization processes in the field of international economic relations. 2. Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of domestic and foreign scientific knowledge and practical experience in international economic relations. 3. Apply the acquired knowledge and scientific methods in various subject areas of international economic relations to form and justify new theoretical provisions and practical recommendations in a specific field.

Summary of the subject: theory of development of the European economy; principles and features of the enlargement of the European Union; features of the institutional structure of the European Union; peculiarities of budgeting of the European Union; features of the agricultural policy of the European Union; features of European Union trade policy; features of the social policy of the European Union; features of regional policy of the European Union.
Опис: The discipline "Peculiarities of the development of the European economy" involves the study of patterns and modern trends of globalization; civilizational paradigm of global economic development; prerequisites and factors of the formation of the global economy; competitive mechanisms of the functioning of the global market; processes of global corporatization and regionalization of business; the nature of the global economic cycle; principles of global institutionalization of economic development.
Assessment methods and criteria: • current control (work at the VNS, case-study, oral testing) - 30 points; • final control (exam) - 70 points.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The current monitoring of students' knowledge in the discipline "Peculiarities of the Development of the European Economy" is carried out according to the following forms: a) during practical classes: - survey or testing of students' knowledge of theoretical material; - evaluation of performance of situational exercises and tasks during class; b) according to the results of self-study tasks (individual tasks): - evaluation of homework during class; - discussion of research materials during practical classes; - discussion of report materials on the problematic issue, holding discussions, summarizing on this issue during a practical session;
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: The maximum number of points (42 points) when assessing students' knowledge during a practical session is assigned according to the following criteria: - during surveys - for a full and thorough answer to a question on the subject of the class; - during testing - for correct answers to all test questions on the lesson topic; - when performing situational exercises and tasks - for the proposed correct algorithm (sequence) of solving the task; for knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the problem posed in the task; for mastering the formulas and mathematical methods necessary to solve the task; for the correct result obtained. In case of non-fulfillment of certain criteria from one or another form of knowledge control, the number of points awarded to the student may be reduced: - for an incomplete answer - 0.5 points; - for each incorrect answer - 1 point; - for untimely performance of individual (laboratory) work – 1 point; - for the unreliability of the provided information - 1.5 points; - for insufficient disclosure of the topic - 1-2 points; - for lack of references to literary sources - 0.5 points.
