Assessment methods and criteria: The minimum threshold grade for semester work (admission to the test) is 30 points. In case of receiving an "unacceptable" grade (below 29 points), the graduate student is obliged to re-study the discipline. In case of receiving a grade of "unsatisfactory", a graduate student is entitled to two retakes: to the teacher and to the committee. However, the maximum final grade after retakes can only be "sufficient". Instead of retaking the examination, a graduate student may choose to repeat the course.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Report : 20 points - The report is prepared and delivered on time, with maximum use of the recommended literature. The report is structured, logical, consistent, and contains elements of a problem-based approach. The speaker demonstrates mastery of the material and the ability to answer questions from the audience. 10-19 points - The report was prepared and delivered on time, but without meeting certain requirements set out above. 1-9 points - The report was prepared late and/or contains gaps and false statements. The speaker does not demonstrate adequate preparation and/or is not prepared to answer meaningful questions.
