Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: • comprehension of the project task and its creative interpretation • the ability to combine content and artistic value in the project • mastering the basics of practical creation of icons, logos and corporate identity elements • mastering the basics of marketing analysis in advertising services and linking graphic design with the specifics of human perception • understanding and individual evaluation of analogues parallel to one's own project, created in Ukrainian and world design practice. • taking into account modern principles of the information society and its characteristics in project practice • creation of effective and convincing and convincing demonstration material presenting the project for perception by the general public • mastering the skills of objective evaluation of own and competing projects and the appropriate terminological and conceptual apparatus.

Summary of the subject: The course "Design, Part 2" is designed for one semester of study and is one of the components of the complex of professional training. Covers 90 hours of practical classes in the 4th semester. Contains a practical part within the work on the course project. The course is designed to give students a professional understanding of the value and professional approach in designing the graphic identity of world-class commercial institutions, as well as interior design. In practical work the main stages of project work, methods of search of ideas, formation of the general composition of the edition and the scenario to visual graphic support are methodically set; work on the sketch part of the project, creating a layout and album of the course project. The student also studies methods of searching for implemented projects in world practice and critically analyzes them; studies the principles of formation of working drawings, professional terminology, methods of searching for ideas related to the solution and implementation of creative ideas.
Assessment methods and criteria: During the semester, a student can score up to 20 points (current assignments) for a course project, the maximum number of points is 80. To be admitted to the course project, the student is not required to pass current assignments. Current assignments are assessed at 5-10 points depending on the difficulty and are passed during the semester. The course project is evaluated as the sum of the components of the project.
