Required prior and related subjects: Previous disciplines: Composition and shaping in design, Basics of design and computer graphics. Related disciplines: Fundamentals of ergonomics, Fundamentals of subject environment design.
Summary of the subject: The subject "Fundamentals of subject environment design" is an integral part of the training of specialists in the field of "Design". The purpose of teaching the discipline for students with basic education in the specialty "Design": - to teach students to master the theory and practice of development and design of elements of the subject-spatial environment both in the interior, exterior, and in complex design; - to develop students' ability to design the environment, modeling the situation depending on the needs of the consumer (function) and always using the same set of equipment (furniture). The task of the discipline is to prepare students for: - performance of complex project tasks in the main profile discipline - "Design". - careful analysis of the specific situation when choosing a solution when designing the subject-spatial environment.
Assessment methods and criteria: During the semester the student can score 100 points (70 points - task №1, 30 - task №2). The test in the discipline "Fundamentals of subject environment design" is based on the assessment of semester papers.

Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Composition and shaping in design Fundamentals of design and computer graphics (CP) Co-requisites: Fundamentals of subject environment design (CP) Interactive design (IP) Interior design, part 1 and part 2 Interior design, part 1 and part 2 (CP) Design of subject-spatial environment Landscaping
Summary of the subject: The purpose of the discipline "Fundamentals of design of the subject environment" is to deepen the professional knowledge of students in their comprehensive training by profession, by getting acquainted with the basic theoretical principles, principles and methods of designing elements of the subject-spatial environment that surrounds a person. As a result of the lecture course, students should have an idea of the place and role of the designer in the development of a harmonious subject-spatial environment. The course involves an extended study of theoretical and methodological approaches and concepts in design: first, as systems of views, forms of existence of theoretical knowledge and skills; secondly, as elements of creativity, project ideas and ideas. The main content of the discipline: concept of design; design methodology (functional typology of objects, ergonomic features, aesthetics, production technology, economy); concepts of subject and subject-spatial environment; factors influencing the subject-spatial environment; combinatorics, modularity in environment formation; construction in environment design; ensemble; optical illusions in the object-spatial environment; associations, imagery, features of perception and psychological impact on a person; typology of types and forms of the environment (formation of the environment for the disabled, architectural environment, residential environment, public, urban and landscape environments); equipment and improvement of environmental objects.
Assessment methods and criteria: During the semester, a student can score 45 points for individual graphic tasks. At the exam - a maximum of 55 points. To be admitted to the exam, a student must score at least 26 points based on the results of the current control. The exam in the discipline "Fundamentals of subject environment design" is conducted in written and oral form, which involves taking tests in the VNS and oral answers to questions in the discipline. The summation of the test and oral survey gives the number of points of the final control - 55 points. The total amount of points for the exam and graphic work - 100 points.
