Summary of the subject: The course "Interior Design, Part 3" is designed for one semester a and structurally includes two parts - theoretical and practical. The study of the proposed course requires a creative approach from students, focuses on the independent search for stylistic tasks, requires them to develop additional scientific and normative literature. The theoretical part of the course is aimed at highlighting information on the formation of interior design of large public buildings, including transport infrastructure, sports complexes, concert halls, exhibition centers, TV centers, educational buildings, etc. Practical work is aimed at developing a creative interior design of the iconic object of transport infrastructure of major cities of Ukraine, namely the lobby group and the waiting room of the airport, railway station or bus station. The use of national symbols, colors, ornaments in interior design, in particular in small architectural forms, sculptures, finishing materials, will be a means of emphasizing the national characteristics of a particular region, city or country.
Assessment methods and criteria: The exam is a mandatory final form of control, which allows you to assess the assimilation of material from the discipline in lectures (passing a test control at the VNS Lviv Polytechnic), the results of his practical work during the semester and independent research. During the semester the student can score 30 points for the examination control (passing the test control in the VNS of Lviv Polytechnic), 60 points for the practical work, 10 points for the independent research task. The sum of grades received by the student for the specified types of completed academic work is the final semester grade.
