Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: As a result of training, the student must be able to demonstrate the following training results: 1. Know the professional terminology that is used in the process of working on drawing and painting; 2. Complete drawing and painting tasks in accordance with the tasks of the program, have a step-by-step, consistent process of execution; 3. Know the basic concepts and understand the principles of construction of the object, laws compositions, perspective rules and lighting theory; 4. Master the regularities of linear and constructive construction of geometric shapes and household objects, draperies, determine the proportions of objects and give volume to shapes with the help of light and shade; 5. To be able to combine practical methods, various techniques and stylistics of graphic and painting methods of depicting forms and objects of three-dimensional space on a paper plane. 6. To be able to compose individual objects or still life in the format of a letter, develop sketches, sketches at the preparatory stage for work. 7. To develop one's own way of performing graphic and pictorial works. As a result of training, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PRN1. To use the acquired knowledge and understanding of the subject field and sphere of professional activity in practical situations PRN7.Ability to analyze, stylize, interpret and transform objects to develop artistic design solutions PRN11. To develop a composite solution of design objects in appropriate techniques and materials. PRN13. To know the assets of the national and world cultural and artistic heritage, to develop eco-culture by means of design. PRN14. Use manifestations of Ukrainian mentality, historical memory, national self-identification and creative self-expression in professional activities. To be able to apply historical creative experience, as well as successful Ukrainian and foreign artistic practices. PRN18. to be able to display the morphological, stylistic and color-textural properties of design objects. COM1. Communication skills, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish). COM2. Ability to use various methods, including modern ones information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels. AiV1.The ability to adapt to new situations and make the right decisions. AiV2. Ability to recognize the need to learn life with the aim of deepening the acquired new professional knowledge. AiV3. The ability to take responsibility for the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics. AiV4. The ability to popularize national and world heritage cultural heritage, as well as promote manifestations of patriotism, national self-awareness and ethno-cultural self-identification. AiV5. The ability to form environmental awareness and personal culture, apply ecological principles in life and professional activity.

Summary of the subject: Laboratory tasks: 1. Linear-constructive drawing of geometric bodies. 2. Still life of simple geometric bodies for side lighting (achromatic scale, grizzly bear). 3. Drawing of a still life from geometric bodies on lateral illumination. 4. Still life of complex geometric bodies for side lighting (mixed gamma, polychromy). 5. Drawing of a cascading still life of complex geometric bodies and household items for direct lighting. 6. Still life of household items for side lighting (greek palette, polychrome). 7. Still-life drawing from household items, draperies to convey the materiality of objects, side lighting.
Assessment methods and criteria: A maximal total estimation for audience and independent (homework) tasks presents 100 points. The calculation of the semester grade is calculated as the average score for all classroom and independent work.
