Learning outcomes: PRNV1.1. Understand the importance and value of pre-design studies, analysis of analogs of design solutions and be able to use the obtained results in design. PRNV1.2. To be able to use normative and reference literature when designing a subject-spatial environment. PRNV 1.3 Orientate yourself in a variety of modern software and hardware tools, use knowledge and skills of working with professional computer support. PRNV1.4. Apply a complex artistic and design approach to create a holistic image of the subject-spatial environment. PRNV1.7. Use basic theoretical and methodological concepts and principles in the design of the subject-spatial environment. KOM1. Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish); KOM2. The ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels. Summary of the subject: The course "Interior design, part 1" structurally reveals the basic provisions of the typology of buildings by functional characteristics, acquaints with the quantitative and qualitative parameters of the living environment, the creation of which is the content of architectural and design design. The purpose of studying the course "Interior design, part 1" is to teach students the typological features of the division of buildings and structures; mastering the requirements for interior design of buildings belonging to different types; encouraging the application of relevant knowledge and skills in practice. Students will master the theory of the typology of buildings, which contributes to the improvement of the level of knowledge about the methods of forming an interior environment with a high level of comfort for various life processes.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control of 40 points for practical tasks. Final Control: Exam 60 points.

Summary of the subject: The course "Designing interiors, part 1 (KP)" is designed for one semester of study and is one of the components of the complex of professional training. Covers 120 hours of practical classes in the 6th semester, contains theoretical and practical parts within the scope of work on a course project. In the theoretical part of the course, materials are presented that highlight the main state building regulations for establishments of trade enterprises and approaches to the design and interior design of establishments of this type. Students get acquainted with the history, modern experience and progressive ideas in the interior design of self-service stores. In practical work, the student studies the methods of analysis of implemented projects in global and domestic practice, professional terminology and the principles of forming project working drawings; acquires skills in planning or re-planning premises, organizing functional connections and technological processes in self-service stores, as well as mastering methods of presenting one's own design solution for the interior of the establishment, taking into account the corporate style and type of product sales.
Assessment methods and criteria: A student can receive a maximum of 100 points for completing a course project during the semester.
