Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: · · Execution of complex design tasks in the main profile discipline – "Design". · Know such categories and concepts as landscape art, typology of landscape design objects, structure of park space, small architectural forms. · Know the history of landscape art. · Know the theoretical and methodological approaches and concepts in landscape design, professional terminology, categories and concepts. · Search for new forms in landscape design, design of gardens and parks, principles of construction of landscape composition of gardens and parks, characteristics of different types of gardens. PLO1.1. Understand the importance and value of pre-design studies, analysis of analogs of design solutions and be able to use the obtained results in design. PLO1.4. Apply a complex artistic and design approach to create a holistic image of the subject-spatial environment. PLO1.6. Create the design of the environment of object-spatial complexes, buildings and structures and small architectural forms in the landscape. PLO1.7. Use basic theoretical and methodological concepts and principles in the design of the subject-spatial environment. COM1. Skills, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish). COM2. Ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at professional and social levels. AaR1. Ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions. AaR2. Ability to understand the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired new professional knowledge. АaR3. Ability to take responsibility for the work performed, make decisions independently, achieve the goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics. АaR4. Ability to promote the achievements of national and world cultural heritage, as well as to promote patriotism, national self-awareness and ethnic and cultural self-identification. АaR5. Ability to form environmental awareness and personal culture, to apply environmental principles in life and professional activities.

Summary of the subject: The subject "Landscape Design" is an integral part of the professional training of specialists in the specialty "Design". The purpose of studying the discipline is to form students' knowledge, ideas and skills in assessing the aesthetic qualities of the landscape to use the possibilities of landscape design. Most attention is paid to the general landscape organization of the modern city and the formation of its individual functional and planning elements (city parks, squares, boulevards, etc.), as well as landscaping of residential areas, urban centers, etc. The study of the discipline involves the formation and development of students' ability to solve problems related to the formation of the environment using modern scientific methods, based on knowledge of both basic and related disciplines; develop the ability to rationally and expediently use existing natural conditions in the design of objects, freely navigate the choice of solutions in various landscape conditions, as well as creative approach, focuses on independent search for ideas and foundations of original strategies to perform specific practical tasks.
