Learning outcomes: - Know the terminology of art history and architecture and basic historical stages of world art and architecture; ideological conditions incipience of such forms, images, style;
- Be able to distinguish between the artistic and architectural styles; identify the most important monuments of art and architecture and remember their attribution;
- Apply relevant theoretical knowledge to analyze historic monuments, works of design and design projects.

Summary of the subject: Art Baroque and Rococo in Italy, France, England, Holland, Ukraine; classicism, realism, romanticism French XVIII-XIX centuries; Ukrainian art 2 half XIX - 1 half XX century; architectural classicism in Lviv, Lviv historicism;
Assessment methods and criteria: - Current control (30%): evaluation graphic works;
- Final evaluation (70% test): written, oral form
