Learning outcomes: The learning outcomes of this discipline detail the following program learning outcomes: Knowledge: • Knowledge of methods of analysis and processing of information from various sources; • Knowledge of modern software in professional activities for the restoration of works of art; Skills: • Be able to collect and process source information on the basis of field surveys of objects, measurements, soundings, pits, archival and iconographic materials of the work of art; • Perform chemical and technological research of works of art; • Ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technology, for effective communication at the professional and social levels; • Ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions;
Required prior and related subjects: Prequisite: Restoration of an architectural detail from stone part 1, Restoration of an architectural detail from stone part 2, Restoration project, part 2, Special photo.
Summary of the subject: Discipline "Computer technology in the diagnosis and restoration of stone" is based on the following sections: acquaintance with modern technical means of research and fixation of monuments, mastering the methods and sequence of research of the restoration object, preparation and introduction of specialized digital file software information, computer layout of the graphic part of the restoration project and the text of the restoration report, preparation of text and graphic documents for printing. The study of the discipline is a series of lectures and practical classes. Practical tasks are performed in the classroom and are developed by the student using the available facilities of the department and specialized laboratories, as well as on the personal computer device (PC) of the student. In the course of practical tasks, the objects selected according to the task are measured using traditional (ruler, tape measure, etc.) tools and modern technical means (digital camera, laser tape measure, laser level). Drawings are made on the environment of the program AutoCAD (student version). The work is executed according to the established sample, submitted in printed form (A4 format) and in digital form.
Assessment methods and criteria: Attendance at lectures - 15 points. Attending practical classes and performing practical tasks - 15 points. Written test - 55 points.. Oral test - 15 points
