Learning outcomes: • The ability to solve complex design problems and practical problems in the field of architectural and urban design and planning, which are characterized by complexity and uncertainty conditions, or in the process of learning that involves the use of optimization techniques of urban, environmental, architectural and planning and composite solutions, environmental, social effectiveness, efficiency, security of buildings and structures; the use of information technology, high technology computer technology, computer-aided design; project management; • Knowledge of basic of regulations and reference materials applicable design standards and regulations, instructions and other legal and administrative documents in Architecture and Urban Planning; • Competence in performing architectural and urban working drawings; • Сompetently perform architectural and urban planing documentation.

Summary of the subject: Landscape basics of architectural creation; composition in landscape design; landscape aspects of designing buildings and structures. Selecting and pioneering new territories, adaptation them to the needs of urban development. Interaction of transport and city architectural-planning organization. Implementation of modern requirements to the streets, roads and squares network.
Assessment methods and criteria: Calculation graphic work “The project of vertical planning of territory using the method of red horizontals” - 3 sheets of A3 size (30%); Examination control: written-oral form (70%)

Learning outcomes: • The ability to solve complex design problems and practical problems in the field of architectural and urban design and planning, which are characterized by complexity and uncertainty conditions, or in the process of learning that involves the use of optimization techniques of urban, environmental, architectural and planning and composite solutions, environmental, social effectiveness, efficiency, security of buildings and structures; the use of information technology, high technology computer technology, computer-aided design; project management; • Possession culture of thinking, the ability to compile, analyze, perception of information, setting goals and choosing the ways to achieve it; • The ability to use legislative, policy, regulatory, legal documents in its activities; • The ability to use methods and achievements of natural, social, humanitarian and economic sciences in solving social and professional problems; • Skills in usage of basic tools, methods and ways of receiving, storing and processing information.

Summary of the subject: Introduction to the basics of urban planning the large territorial object. Pre-designing research, analysis and natural observations of the territory. Urbanistic and natural analysis of projected settlement for 5000 residents region and determinating the territory available for building. Urbanistic calculation of the settlement territory. Introduction to the urban basics of designing settlements and experience of designing modern settlements. List of drawings: location plan (without scale but with proportions); complex site analysis scheme (scale 1:5000); scheme of planning restriction (scale 1:5000); scheme of functional planning organization of territory (scale 1:5000); the master plan (scale 1:2000); fragment of the master plan (scale 1:500); panoramic profile of the territory (scale 1:1000); axonometry of the designed settlement with surrounding territories (A3 size); 3D viewpoints from the human eyes (2 units, A4 size) illustrating architectural-artistic solution of individual units of the settlement.
Assessment methods and criteria: Sketch projects №1 and №2 (30%); Course project: 2 sheets of A1 size; performing techniques - digital or manual graphics (70%)
