Learning outcomes: The purpose of the discipline is to work out with students the method of adaptation of public and industrial facilities to the new typological purpose, taking into account the loss of primary function; working out of methods of computer design and modeling of architectural objects.
Required prior and related subjects: 1. History of architecture; 2. Architectural Graphics and Composition. 3. Design of Architectural Environment; 4. Architectural Design of "Public Buildings and Structures".
Summary of the subject: To date, Lviv has preserved a large number of historic industrial buildings that have lost their original functional purpose. Among them are a significant number of valuable in the architectural, artistic and historical and cultural aspects of buildings and complexes. They were built on individual projects, some of them were rebuilt more than once. The main task of this course project is to choose the most effective ways to adapt industrial facilities to new relevant functions. Therefore, knowledge of the methodology of restructuring of industrial facilities with lost function, the principles of their spatial solution, structural system and organization of space, will be useful for future professionals.
Assessment methods and criteria: Differentiated credit. Course project - 100 p.

Learning outcomes: Acquisition of practical skills using Graphisoft Archicad / Autodesk Revit software in the field of architecture, namely: creation of graphic 3D models, execution of architectural documentation in accordance with applicable regulations; gaining knowledge about synchronization between different architectural programs (Lumion, Autodesk 3dsmax and others).
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Fundamentals of architectural design co-requisites: Architectural design of residential buildings
Summary of the subject: The content of the discipline is to master the software for free use in the architectural field. The curriculum is divided into several blocks: 1. General information about the software; 2. Getting started and interface; 3. Setting the working profile of the program; 4. Using software tools to perform the task; 5. Documentation and annotation; 6. Work with 3D model.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (classroom activity) - 10 points. Final control (album of graphic works) - 90 points.

Learning outcomes: • The ability to solve complex design problems and practical problems in the field of architectural and urban design and planning, which are characterized by complexity and uncertainty conditions, or in the process of learning that involves the use of optimization techniques of urban, environmental, architectural and composite solutions, environmental, social effectiveness, efficiency, security of buildings and structures; the use of information technology, high technology computer technology, computer-aided design; project management; • Possession culture of thinking, the ability to compile, analyze, perception of information, setting goals and choosing the ways to achieve it; • The ability to logically, with clear arguments communicate (orally and in writing) in the official language and having skills in at least one of the common European languages at reading and understanding scientific and technical literature, communicate orally and in writing; • The ability to find organizational and administrative decisions and be prepared to bear responsibility for them, have the skills of professional communication, interaction with others, ability to work in groups; • The ability to use legislative, policy, regulatory, legal documents in its activities.

Summary of the subject: Mastering methods of creating and finishing graphic objects , that are created and saved in digital formats, recording images with using mathematic(single-family dwelling house and part of the space city) and graphic programmes. Mastering the techniques of computer modeling and processing of photometric data that are obtained in process of creating architectural and urban projects in the ARHI CAD program.

Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the specialist must have knowledge of the system and logic, possession of tools for correct modeling and animation of the architectural environment. The specialist must be fluent in the working field of the software environment, form a model at the level of complexity of a one-hour house and elements of historic buildings, perform visualizations, videos with animation of the architectural environment, be able to design the results of their work. This goal is achieved by demonstrating basic skills in the classroom and the parallel repetition of these exercises by students, performing individual tasks of the course project. The learning outcomes of this discipline detail the following program learning outcomes: - Understanding of ArchiCAD for simulation and Lumion for visualization and animation. - Ability to copy a given object or fragment of the architectural environment. - Have the necessary skills to form high-quality graphic material for the presentation of their work.

Summary of the subject: The discipline "Computer Technologies in Architectural Design" is based on the following sections: acquaintance with modern methods of modeling and animation of architectural environment, detailed acquaintance with the software work environment, logic of BIM design, work with project layers, work with model views, preparation of documentation as model verification, export of the model to a graphics program for visualization and animation, execution of visualization of an architectural object, animation of the architectural environment.
