Learning outcomes: Studying the theoretical bases of forming the architectural environment of public buildings and their importance in solving practical design problems and the ability to execute projects of public buildings taking into account the theoretical and typological principles of their formation.

4. Urban Planning.
Summary of the subject: The course is devoted to the study of a specific area of project culture at the intersection of design and cultural studies of architecture, typology of architecture and architectural environment. It examines the problems of forming, reconstruction and restoration of the architectural environment, interior design of public buildings, design and improvement of open urban space, shopping and entertainment buildings, places of recreation, outdoor advertising, teaches, analyze and model the space in accordance with modern scientific trends and achievements .
Assessment methods and criteria: Examination. Written component – 90p; Oral component – 10p. Together for discipline – 100p.

Learning outcomes: The study of the discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies:
general:
• Ability to self-study, to self-improvement and to continue professional development;
• rationally organize their own activities and effectively manage their own time;
• take into account the main aesthetic categories, the laws of architectural composition, ethnic, socio-cultural, economic, technological, natural and environmental principles and methods of construction in the historical environment of the city.

• Ability to apply the skills of graphic design (modeling, sketching);
• Design of public facilities within the current construction legislation of Ukraine;
• preparation of architectural documentation according to current building regulations.
The learning outcomes of this discipline detail the following program learning outcomes:
• Understanding the structure and structure of public buildings in the historically formed urban environment;
• Understanding of modern methods and approaches in the restoration and adaptation of buildings in the historical environment;
Have the necessary knowledge and skills from the point of view of design to perform drawings of restored houses.

Summary of the subject: Discipline "Architectural design: Restoration and reconstruction of architectural objects" is based on the study of analogues of restoration projects and adaptation of sites for public functions (house insert). The study of the discipline is a consistent teaching of the basics of restoration methods in architectural design, means of visual reproduction of historical facades in the urban environment.

Design materials: layout of the projected area in the settlement; schemes of pre-design (system) analysis (natural-aesthetic; compositional-urban; natural-climatic; functional-urban); schemes of housing education systems [compositional-town-planning and functional-town-planning structure; life support (nature-friendly solutions in water supply and sewerage, supply of materials, products and collection of housing waste; use of renewable energy sources)]; general plan of housing education; sections on the projected object on the site; 3D image of the project object (from a bird's eye view).
