Learning outcomes: Studying the theoretical bases of forming the architectural environment of public buildings and their importance in solving practical design problems and the ability to execute projects of public buildings taking into account the theoretical and typological principles of their formation.

Summary of the subject: The course is devoted to the study of a specific area of project culture at the intersection of design and cultural studies of architecture, typology of architecture and architectural environment. It examines the problems of forming, reconstruction and restoration of the architectural environment, interior design of public buildings, design and improvement of open urban space, shopping and entertainment buildings, places of recreation, outdoor advertising, teaches, analyze and model the space in accordance with modern scientific trends and achievements .
Assessment methods and criteria: Examination. Written component – 90p; Oral component – 10p. Together for discipline – 100p.

Learning outcomes: • Knowledge of professionally oriented disciplines of the specialty 191 Architecture and Urban Planning. • Knowledge of state design and sanitary and hygienic standards, on the basis of which are carried out before the design analysis, calculations, search, sketch and working architectural and urban design. • Knowledge of modern achievements of innovative technologies in the field of architecture and urban planning. • Knowledge of design process technology in architecture and urban planning. • Knowledge of current legislation in the field of protection of architectural monuments and urban planning, competence in conducting historical and architectural research; formulation of monument protection conclusions; development of projects for the preservation and adaptation of architectural monuments and historic urban complexes. • Be able to find the optimal combination of aesthetic, functional, constructive, engineering and technological solutions to ensure the safety and comfort of use of facilities, including for disabled and less mobile groups.
