Мета вивчення дисципліни: Introducing students to advanced software for working with architectural and urban planning objects of various types and hierarchical levels, including for practical tasks in design, data analysis, 3D modeling and visualization.
Завдання: integral competence (INT) – The ability to solve problems of a research and innovation nature in the field of architecture and urban planning. general competences (CG): ZK 01 Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. ZK 04 Ability to use information and communication technologies. ZK 06 Ability to act on the basis of ethical considerations (motives). ZK 08 Ability to communicate with representatives of other professional groups at different levels (with experts from other fields of knowledge/types of economic activity). Special (professional) competences (FC): FC 02. Ability to solve architectural and urban planning problems in new or unfamiliar environments in the presence of incomplete or limited information, taking into account aspects of social and ethical responsibility. FC 03. Ability to analyze, develop and implement architectural and urban planning solutions taking into account socio-demographic, national -ethnic, natural-climatic, engineering-technical factors and sanitary-hygienic, safety, energy-saving, ecological, technical-economic requirements. FC 11. The ability to critically consider the problems of architecture and urban planning. Professional competences of specialization (FCS): FCS 1.8. Ability to establish cooperation with consumers based on acquired knowledge and skills of participatory design.
Learning outcomes: PRN 1. (РН02) . Have the specialized skills/problem-solving skills necessary to conduct research and/or conduct innovative activities in the field of architecture and urban planning in order to develop new knowledge and procedures. PRN 2 (UM03). Design the urban environment taking into account society and the principles of balanced development;

Summary of the subject: Within the framework of the discipline, the principles and methods of working with modern software for working with architectural and urban planning objects of different types and different hierarchical levels are studied. The functional capabilities and differences of the software for conducting design architectural and urban planning activities are studied. In practical classes, the skills of working with various software and ways of its application in the real design of architectural and urban planning objects are practiced.
Опис: 1. Software for the implementation of architectural and urban planning infographics and conceptual schemes. 2. Data visualization in geographic information systems (ArcGIS, QGIS) 3. Photo scanning of facades with an insert of the designed building (Adobe Photoshop, ArchiCAD) 4. Inserting the 3D model of the house into the environment (3DSMax, Corona Renderer, V-Ray) 5. Visualization of the "white model" using global lighting and artificial light sources (3DSMax, Corona Renderer, V-Ray) 6. Realistic and unrealistic visualization of the exterior and interior (ArchiCAD, SketchUp, 3DSMax, Corona Renderer) 7. Alternative software for performing everyday architectural urban planning tasks (ArchiCAD-Revit, 3DSMax-Cinema 4D, etc.) 8. Control work
Assessment methods and criteria: Each stage of work is evaluated separately. The semester grade is the sum of all grades received during the semester, the student compiles an album of completed graphic tasks during the semester. 1 file - an album of drawings in accordance with the requirements in *.pdf format (compressed to 5 mb size) is uploaded to the VNS for assessment. In the last lesson, the defense of the control work is held.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, to consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
