Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: • Perform field surveys, architectural measurements and photo-fixation of the selected architectural object; • Perform historical and archival research of the selected architectural object; • Elaborate the research part of the project and separate sections of the explanatory note to it; • Develop a large-scale composition of the graphic part of the project. • Know the requirements for the implementation of project documentation in the field of architecture and urban planning. • Formulate conservation conclusions; • Develop projects for the preservation and adaptation of architectural monuments and historic architectural and urban complexes. • Make spatial development plans. The study of the discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: general: • Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and specialty; • Ability to learn, absorb the acquired knowledge in the subject area and integrate them with existing ones; ability to search and analyze information from various sources. • Ability to communicate effectively at the professional and social levels. Ability to communicate in writing and orally in Ukrainian and English (or other) languages; • Choose promising areas of research based on the relevance of the issue, the results of analysis of scientific information, define goals and formulate scientific objectives • Ability to conduct research at the appropriate level, have research skills in the ability to form (make presentations or present reports) new products in the chosen field, choose appropriate areas and appropriate methods of their implementation, taking into account available resources; • Skills in information and communication technologies, implementation of computer programs and use of existing ones • Focus on preserving the environment. professional: • Application of knowledge of complex research of architectural and town-planning object in architectural and restoration design and carrying out of research activity; • Ability to have the skills of theoretical understanding of the principles of logical construction of scientific work, as well as their practical application with elements of novelty in solving scientific problems • Ability to have a method of conducting pre-project analysis taking into account all the influential factors of design and formation of the author's concept of the project solution • Execution of working documentation in the field of restoration, namely inventory of monuments, project proposals for the restoration of architectural monuments or regeneration of urban formations, in the amount and form of actual design; • Execution of spatial planning tasks; competent, reasoned and confirmed by the conclusions of the pre-project study and decision on strategies for the preservation and use of monuments; • Execute monument protection documentation - historical and architectural plan of the city, the project of regeneration of historically valuable territory with professional changes in the street network of the city; The results of the study of this discipline detail the following program learning outcomes: • Understanding the structure and structure of scientific research and elaboration of monumental documentation for architectural and urban planning objects; • Ability to analyze the condition and potential of the studied objects; • Have the necessary knowledge and skills to develop projects for the restoration, regeneration and adaptation of architectural and urban monuments.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Architectural design, Renovation of buildings, Comprehensive research of architectural and urban planning object, Methods of scientific research, Scientific principles of regeneration of historical urban complexes and ensembles, Typology and classification of monuments, auxiliary disciplines in their study. Co-requisite: Comprehensive study of architectural and urban planning object, KP Architectural Design, Methodology of research and design process of preservation of the historic city, Course project on the topic of master's qualification work.
