Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies:

Learning outcomes: O1. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the theoretical foundations and principles of marketing activities.
O 2. Analyze and predict market phenomena and processes based on the application of fundamental principles, theoretical knowledge and applied skills of marketing activities.
O 4. Collect and analyze the necessary information, calculate economic and marketing indicators, justify management decisions based on the use of the necessary analytical and methodological tools.
O 5. Identify and analyze the key characteristics of marketing systems at different levels, as well as the behavior of their subjects.
O 7. Use digital information and communication technologies, as well as software products necessary for the proper conduct of marketing activities and the practical application of marketing tools.
O 10. Explain information, ideas, problems and alternative management decisions to specialists and non-specialists in the field of marketing, representatives of various structural units of the market entity.
O 17. Demonstrate skills of written and oral professional communication in state and foreign languages, as well as proper use of professional terminology.
O 19. Identify skills of analysis of digitized information, justify management decisions based on changes in external and internal environment.

Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Entrepreneurship
Corequisites: Macroeconomics; Microeconomics.
Summary of the subject: In the process of studying the academic discipline "International Economy", students will familiarize themselves with the laws of functioning and development of the international market organization of economic life; tools for analysis and programming of the development of an open national economy, features of its interaction with the economy of other countries; trends in the development of international commodity, investment, financial and labor markets; will consider the institutional structure of regulation of the international economy, trends in its development and ways of improvement;
As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes:
1. Understand the peculiarities of economic relations in the mega-environment compared to the macro- and micro-environment;
2. To be able to evaluate the trade advantages of countries in the conditions of the international division of labor;
3. To be able to apply the forms and methods of regulating the foreign trade policy of economic entities;
4. Understand the specifics and consequences of migration processes;
5. Be able to evaluate the effectiveness of international capital movement and international credit relations;
6. Understand the essence of the international currency system and knowledge of its main means and tools;
7. To be able to objectively assess the role of Ukraine and its prospects in the integration process.
Опис: The essence, structure, main elements of the international economic system. The essence, factors and types of international division of labor. International specialization and cooperation. The essence, objects, subjects, forms of international economic relations. Evolution of theories of international economic relations. Theories of absolute and comparative advantage. Dynamic models of international competitiveness. Foreign, international and world trade. Tariff and non-tariff regulation of international trade and economic relations. Ukraine on the world market of goods and services. The essence, motivation and forms of international movement of capital. The essence, reasons and types of international investments. The world financial market, its structure and development trends. Transnational corporations and their sphere of activity. International credit and its main types. International monetary and financial organizations. Scales, forms, directions of modern migration processes. Concept of currency and its classification. Exchange rate and currency parity. Forms of international settlements and their comparative characteristics. International regional integration. International economic policy of Ukraine in the conditions of economic globalization.
Assessment methods and criteria: Oral survey during students' work in small groups during lectures, laboratory and practical classes. Written work and oral component on the exam.
When working remotely (including under quarantine conditions), an interview with students is expected during video conferences during lectures and practical classes. Laboratory work is carried out in the classroom or (in the case of distance learning) on a home computer. Individual reports from laboratory work and written works are forwarded to the National Academy of Sciences, or to the teacher's e-mail address in the @lpnu.ua domain. Remote classes are held on the MS Teams and ZOOM platforms.
