- Know and understand the economic categories, laws, cause and effect relationships that exist between processes and phenomena at different levels of economic systems.
- Know and understand the theoretical foundations and principles of financial science, especially the functioning of financial systems.
- To determine the peculiarities of the functioning of modern world and national financial systems and their structure.
- Know the mechanism of functioning of public finances, including budget and tax systems, business entities' finances, household finances, financial markets, banking, and insurance.
- Have a methodological toolkit for diagnostics of the state of financial systems (public finances, including budget and tax systems, finances of economic entities, finances of households, financial markets, banking system and insurance).
- Apply appropriate economic and mathematical methods and models to solve financial problems.
- Understand the principles, methods and instruments of government and market regulation in financial, banking and insurance activities.

Summary of the subject: The academic discipline "Financial Market" is one of the important academic disciplines of bachelor's training, which ensures that students acquire professional theoretical knowledge and practical skills in research competencies. The discipline lays the scientific foundations and skills for professionally oriented practical activities of future specialists, forms a complex of knowledge and skills in organizing and conducting research on the financial market.

Assessment methods and criteria: Current control -30 points
Examination control -70 points
including testing by topics - 10 points;
solving practical problems, situational exercises - 10 points;
individual survey on topics - 10 points.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Full-time students can receive only 30 points for the acquired knowledge and skills in practical classes (from 2 to 3 points for each practical class (a total of 11 practical classes). When setting the actual grade in the record book, the teacher in practical classes takes into account:
- student activity during the survey of theoretical material (0.5-2 points);
- correct solution of situational problems (1-2 points);
- depth of analysis of problem situations (1-2 points).
The current grade is set by the teacher who conducts the practical classes, demonstrates this grade to the students at each class and writes it down in the appropriate column of the "Journal of current performance and attendance of students".The final (examination) grade is issued as a result of the examination control, which involves the performance of written and oral components. The written component includes tasks of three levels of difficulty. The first level involves the performance of test tasks, for which a student can receive a maximum of 10 points (total of 10 test tasks, each test task is worth 1 point). The tasks of the second level involve the completion of two test tasks, 5 points each, and a task on matching the terms, for which the student can receive a maximum of 10 points A total of 20 points for completing second-level tasks. The third level involves the performance of two tasks. A student can get 15 points for a complete and correct solution with explanations and formulas of one problem. The maximum number of points for the written component of the examination control is 60 points.
The oral component of the examination control involves answering 2 theoretical questions, for which the student can receive a maximum of 10 points (each question is worth 5 points). When answering a theoretical question, the following is taken into account:
- depth, correctness and understanding - 3 points;
- ability to give examples, make comparisons - 2 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Full-time students can receive only 30 points for the acquired knowledge and skills in practical classes (from 2 to 3 points for each practical class (total of 11 practical classes).
