Мета вивчення дисципліни: Acquisition by the student of competencies sufficient for the successful performance of professional duties in the specialty 161 Chemical technologies and engineering, familiarization of students with the methodology of scientific research, formation of the ability to apply it in practical activities, organize research activities.
Завдання: general competences: 1. Ability to generate new ideas (creativity). 2. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. 3. Ability to work independently and in a team. 4. The ability to self-educate and improve the level of professional qualifications. professional competences: 1. The ability to use modern special scientific equipment and software when conducting experimental research and carrying out research and development in the field of chemical technologies and engineering.
Learning outcomes: РН1: ПР2 Search for the necessary information on chemical technology, processes and equipment for the production of chemical substances and materials based on them, systematize, analyze and evaluate the relevant information. РН2: PR7 Search scientific and technical literature, patents, databases, and other sources for the necessary information on chemical technology, processes and equipment for the production of chemical substances and materials based on them, systematize, and analyze and evaluate the relevant information. РН3: KOM1 Clear and unambiguous presentation of one's own knowledge, conclusions and arguments to specialists and non-specialists, in particular, to students. РН4: АіВ3 Ability to continue learning with a high degree of autonomy.

Summary of the subject: Methodological and organizational bases of research. Organization of research and scientific research. The choice of research direction and stages of scientific research. Search, accumulation and processing of scientific information. Fundamentals of technical creativity. Law of development and consumption of technical systems. Basic laws of the creative process. Organizational aspects of scientific activity. Nature statistical decisions and testing hypotheses in the research. Basic methods of statistical data processing during research in chemistry and chemical technology.
Опис: The study discipline "Methodology of Scientific Research" introduces students to the theoretical foundations of the methodology of scientific research activity. Concept of methodology and method of scientific research. Theoretical and methodological principles of science. A systematic approach in scientific research. Selection of the direction of scientific research and stages of scientific research work. Definition of the subject and object of research. Search, accumulation and processing of scientific information.
Assessment methods and criteria: The main methods of knowledge diagnosis are: current (PC) and semester control (SC), which is carried out from educational material, the scope of which is determined by the work program of the discipline for the semester. Current control is carried out during lectures and laboratory classes in order to check the level of assimilation of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills of the student. PC is conducted in the form of: written and oral control and defense of laboratory work. Semester control is carried out in the form of credit (ZK). The grade is a form of SC of the student's study results in the academic discipline for the semester.
