Required prior and related subjects: Engineering and computer graphics. Theoretical fundamentals of polymer processing. Equipment design and production and processing of polymer composites. Materials and equipment for plastics processing equipment. Thermal Technology enerhohimichnyh basics of synthesis and processing of plastics.
Summary of the subject: Methodical bases of selection of plastic products manufacturing. The principles of calculating plastic parts for durability. Classification of equipment for processing plastic injection molding and extrusion. Forms for pressing (purpose, structure, principle, foundations design). Moulds for injection molding (purpose, structure, principle, foundations design). The materials used for the manufacture of molds. Methods of making molds. The design process in view of its possible avtomaty¬zatsiyi. Classification of CAD. CAD in the design of equipment for processing plastics in products.
Assessment methods and criteria: - oral examination, reference work (25%); - final evaluation (75% control measure, exam), written-oral form (75%).
