Learning outcomes: • The ability to use holistic view of the formed thin organic synthesis in the search for new drug substances; • The ability to develop processes and methods of new drug substances and products; • The ability to detect a correspondence between the structure of matter, its physical and chemical properties, reactivity and methods of synthesis; • The ability to compare, choose alternative ways of obtaining medicines, apply knowledge of the microbiological processes to produce pharmaceutical substances, design new biotechnological production of pharmaceuticals.

Summary of the subject: Modern requirements for drugs. Creation of new synthetic drugs, interaction structure - biological activity. Classes of drugs. Means that correcting immune status, stress and performance of animals. Substances that affect of the metabolism mainly, individual systems and organs. The use of industrial microbial biosynthesis for the production of medicines.
