Мета вивчення дисципліни: Acquaintance of students with the structure, basic physical principles of functioning of programming elements and practical use of elements and devices of the Internet of Things.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: general competencies: ЗК07. 07. The ability to work in a team. Professional competencies of a professional direction: ФКС1.2. Understanding of basic communication interfaces and network protocols used in embedded systems, including the concept of the Internet of Things. ФКС1.3 Ability to design and implement computer networks from embedded systems.
Learning outcomes: ПРН1.4. Know and be able to use Internet of Things standards.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous academic disciplines: Digital signal processing. Programming of mobile platforms. Internet programming. Basics of programming embedded things.
Summary of the subject: The educational discipline systematizes information, standards, and approaches to the technical implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) concept, as well as information and communication technologies related to IoT (RFID radio frequency identification, WSN wireless sensor networks, M2M machine-to-machine communications). Data transfer protocols and technologies are considered, numerous examples of practical implementation of the Internet of Things are given.
Опис: General provisions of the INTERNET OF THINGS. RFID radio frequency identification methods. Methods of optical identification of objects. wireless sensor networks WSN. intermachine M2M communications. Data transfer standards and protocols in IoT. Practical implementation of IoT.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Control measures at practical classes. 2. Oral survey at practical classes. 3. Tests. 4. Protection of laboratory works. 5. Examination control (written component, oral component).
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • current control includes the defense of 6 laboratory works with written reports, interviews (5%*6=30 %) and test (20%); Deadlines are set for the protection of laboratory points. Outside of deadlines, the maximum score is reduced by 10% every 2 weeks; • final control - exam: written form and interviews (40+10=50%).
