Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of the discipline "Business planning and project management" is to acquire theoretical knowledge of business planning and project management, practical skills of drawing up business plans and managing projects and development programs of economic entities.
Завдання: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the applicant must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1) the ability to choose a priority direction of business activity; 2) calculate business plan indicators and draw up drafts of its sections, form a business plan; 3) evaluate the economic efficiency of projects; 4) the ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the parameters and factors influencing the development of the project for the purpose of forming its budget; 5) understanding of the risks of project activities, management of projects and programs, in particular financial risks of the project, their consideration during the application of the budgetary method of project management; 6) the ability to establish, develop and coordinate interaction with stakeholders in project activities; 7) apply software tools and information technologies during business planning and project management; 8) provide informational and documentary support for project planning; 9) identify project implementation costs, form the project budget, programs. The study of the academic discipline involves the formation and development of competence acquirers: general: 1) the ability to solve specialized tasks and solve complex practical problems in the field of project management; 2) the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in real practical situations in the field of project management; 3) the ability to learn and master modern knowledge; 4) ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis; 5) the ability to make informed decisions in the field of project management; 6) the ability to motivate people and move towards a common goal; 7) ability to develop projects and manage projects and programs; professional: 1) the ability to implement specific types of project management on the basis of the performance of general management functions, the formation of management methods, the development of management decisions, the implementation of project management; 2) in-depth knowledge of the modern theoretical-methodological and methodological-applied base of project and program management; 3) the ability to choose and practically apply a wide range of tools for the purpose of project management; 4) the ability to choose and practically apply a wide range of tools for evaluating the economic efficiency of projects; 5) the ability to choose and practically apply modern software and technical and information and communication support in the field of project management; 6) in-depth knowledge of domestic and international regulatory and legal support of project activities; 7) ability to develop project and program management systems and carry out their structural decomposition; 8) the ability to manage costs in project activities on the basis of finding directions and reserves for their optimization, to apply the budgetary method of project management; 9) the ability to ensure interaction between all interested parties of the project, program; 10) the ability to provide informational and documentary support for project activities.

Summary of the subject: The study of the discipline "Business planning and project management" involves mastering knowledge of business planning and practical skills of drawing up business plans, project management and, in particular, project management and development programs of business entities, project planning, analysis and assessment of risks and the effectiveness of project implementation.

Assessment methods and criteria: Selective oral survey at lectures and practical classes, oral or written-oral current control, written control work, performance of an individual task (writing a business plan), computer testing. During remote work (including under the conditions of quarantine), an interview with applicants is planned during video conferences at lectures and practical classes. Remote classes are held on the MS Teams and ZOOM platforms.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Assessment of the knowledge of students in the discipline "Business planning and project management" is carried out according to one of 2 methods: 1) the applicant must complete the control work, and pass the test for its protection (priority option - with the help of the National Security Service). Defense of the control work by the students is estimated at 100 points; 2) the applicant must complete a control work in the form of a business plan, and its defense is evaluated on the basis of activity during classes and an oral interview. Defense of the control work in the form of a business plan by the students is estimated at 100 points. These 2 methods are alternative. For the assessment of knowledge in the discipline "Business Planning and Project Management", the applicant (in agreement with the teacher) chooses only one of the 2 above-mentioned methods during the first month of the semester. Evaluation criteria according to method #1: - a grade of 88-100 points is awarded to a student who fully completed all the tasks of the test, completed the test correctly, gave correct and comprehensive answers to all test questions, and also actively participated in practical and lecture classes during the course. Minor errors in the design of the test work are allowed, as well as minor errors in the answers to test questions, which generally do not call into question the high level of knowledge of the student. However, it is not allowed to perform the tasks of the control work in full; - a grade of 71-87 points is awarded to a student who fully completed all the tasks of the test, completed the test correctly, gave correct and comprehensive answers to most of the test questions, and also actively participated in practical and lecture classes during the course. Minor errors in the test work and/or the design of the test work, as well as errors in the answers to the test questions, are allowed, which in general do not call into question the satisfactory level of knowledge of the student. However, it is not allowed to perform the tasks of the control work in full; - a score of 50-70 points is awarded to a student who has fully completed all the tasks of the test, completed the test, and given correct and comprehensive answers to most of the test questions. Errors in the design of the test work, as well as errors in the answers to the test questions are allowed, which in general do not call into question the satisfactory level of knowledge of the student of education. However, it is not allowed to perform the tasks of the control work in full; - a score of 0-49 points is given to a student who did not complete all the tasks of the test, made critical mistakes in the preparation of the test, gave wrong answers to most of the test questions, which in general calls into question the satisfactory level of knowledge of the student; Evaluation criteria according to method #2: - a score of 88-100 points is awarded to a student who has fully completed all the tasks for writing a control paper in the form of a business plan, correctly issued a control paper in the form of a business plan, gave correct and comprehensive answers to all questions during the oral survey, as well as during the course took an active part in practical and lecture classes. Minor errors in the design of the control work in the form of a business plan are allowed, as well as minor errors in the answers to questions during the oral survey, which generally do not call into question the high level of knowledge of the student. However, it is not allowed to perform tasks of control work in the form of a business plan in full; - a grade of 71-87 points is awarded to a student who has fully completed all the tasks for writing a control paper in the form of a business plan, correctly issued a control paper in the form of a business plan, gave correct and comprehensive answers to all questions during the oral survey, as well as during the course took an active part in practical and lecture classes. However, it is not allowed to perform tasks of control work in the form of a business plan in full; - a score of 50-70 points is awarded to a student who has fully completed all the tasks for writing a control paper in the form of a business plan, issued a control paper in the form of a business plan, and answered most of the questions during the oral survey. Errors in the control work in the form of a business plan and/or design of the control work in the form of a business plan are allowed, as well as errors in the answers during the oral survey, which in general do not call into question the satisfactory level of knowledge of the student. However, it is not allowed to perform tasks of control work in the form of a business plan in full; - a score of 50-70 points is awarded to a student who did not complete all the tasks for writing a test in the form of a business plan, made critical mistakes in the preparation of a test in the form of a business plan, did not answer most of the questions during the oral survey.
