Завдання: The formation of a linguistic and national worldview as a basis for the establishment of an independent Ukrainian State. Master language norms and use stylistic language differentiation in accordance with communicative needs. to have basic language norms at different language levels: phonetic, lexical-semantic, morphological, syntactic. Choose arguments and means of activating attention based on different styles.
Learning outcomes: • Master the basic scientific principles of modern Ukrainian literary language on lexicology, know the basic theoretical questions of style; • Master the basic requirements for modern oral and written communication; • Be able to use Ukrainian spelling, different types of dictionaries, and reference books; • Be able to analyze texts on professional topics that share knowledge in the practice of communication.

Summary of the subject: Stylistic and practical aspects of modern Ukrainian literary language; journalistic style and its means; culture of oral and written language; scientific principles of spelling and punctuation; stylistic editing of journalistic texts.
Опис: The role of cultural and national orientations in modern problems of normalization and codification of different styles of the Ukrainian language. The history of the creation of a language norm and a language standard. Word-forming means of stylistics. Universal and unique in the field of phraseology. Lexical means of stylistics from the point of view of their origin. Sociolinguistic aspect of slang and slang vocabulary. Grammatical means of stylistics of the modern Ukrainian language. Stable syntactic formulas as an element of language etiquette. Spelling as the form and essence of language normativity. Etiquette aspect of verbal and non-verbal communication.
Assessment methods and criteria: test: participation: 100 points (oral interviews, tests)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Assessment of students' knowledge is based on the following criteria: • correctness of answers (correct, clear, sufficiently deep presentation of theoretical concepts); • degree of awareness of program material and independence of reasoning; • level of use of scientific (theoretical) knowledge; • the ability to use the learned theoretical material while performing creative practical tasks. • students' answers are evaluated in terms of logic, clarity, expressiveness of presentation.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions, which, however, contain certain insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49–26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25–00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
