Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: - to know the main problems associated with remote control of moving objects; information bases of systems of remote control and monitoring of moving objects; architecture of modern SCADA-systems; networks, interfaces, protocols of interaction in SCADA-systems; basics of building human-machine interfaces (HMI); - to know and understand the scientific and mathematical principles underlying the Internet of Things devices; - to be able to evaluate different design solutions, choosing the best among them; to develop design and engineering documentation during the development of control devices for moving objects, taking into account the requirements of relevant regulations, standards and instructions; to develop the architecture of SCADA-systems, to use software of modern SCADA-systems, to carry out network interaction between SCADA, to provide communication of SCADA with external applications (DBMS, spreadsheets, word processors, etc.), develop human-machine interfaces.
Required prior and related subjects: Previous subjects: computer networks, cloud technologies, interfaces and data transmission protocols.
Summary of the subject: The discipline "Supervisory system control and data acquisition" contains a description of the main tools for building control systems and data collection in the field of management of moving objects in road transport. Theoretical and practical skills of working with the use of SCADA-technologies allow you to quickly solve real problems related to the development of control systems, collection, processing, transmission, storage and display of information.
