Мета вивчення дисципліни: To involve graduate students in working out those theoretical and methodological aspects of scientific knowledge that determine the state, structure and prospects of the development of modern science, to form the skills of operating the categorical and conceptual apparatus of modern science, to deepen the understanding of the significance of scientific knowledge and cognition in the conditions of complex social and civilizational processes.
Завдання: Tasks of studying discipline: help students to understand the statement and features of modern science. One of the main tasks of the course is to explain the reasons for increasing the significance of scientific knowledge in the conditions of complication of social and civilization processes in modern society. As a result of studying the discipline the student must: know: - the peculiarities of modern science and its place in social life; - differences between historical types of science, its connection with human personality, culture and basic spheres of social life; - the most important criteria of scientific knowledge. be able to: - use the knowledge of the initial postulates and foundations of science for the planning of their research work; - to compare and analyze different types of knowledge and historical types of science; - to apply the philosophical and methodological apparatus of scientific theories in its own research work, using thus knowledge of methods and instruments of science.

The ability to demonstrate professional skills and abilities acquired during industrial and pre-diploma practice; ZS 3. The ability to organize the work of the labor team, to cooperate and interact with various departments and to involve leading specialists in the work, to organize the work and effective interaction of structural divisions, to direct their activities to the implementation of production tasks, to apply methods and forms of the policy of personnel stimulation of the team, to apply social economic principles of management, to develop a system of social protection in its structural subdivisions; ZS 28. Demonstrate readiness to interact with colleagues at work, make management decisions in the organization of the work of performers; ZS 37. Application of methods of possible interaction with public organizations, foundations and industry trade unions. CU 1. Analyze and explain current processes in the social sphere and social security; CU 2. Search for information from various sources to solve professional problems; KU 3. Systematically think and apply creative abilities to form new ideas; KU 4. Critically evaluate the obtained results, elaborate and defend with arguments the decisions made based on actual / empirical data of practice; CU 5. To combine theory and practice, as well as to make decisions and develop an activity strategy to solve the tasks of the specialty, taking into account universal human values, public and state interests PN 2. Apply your knowledge for professional counseling of consumers of social security services; PN 5. Work effectively both individually and as part of an interdisciplinary team of specialists. ZU 3. The ability to independently work autonomously and perform professional tasks as part of multidisciplinary teams of specialists; ZU 4. Ability to use various methods, in particular information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels; ZU 5. Philosophical context of determination of paradigmatic characteristics of social and humanitarian scientific knowledge.
